The gag order would only prevent President Trump from talking about this case. It won’t prevent him from campaigning.

No one can legally prohibit Mr Trump from publicly talking about his case. No matter what any New York state statute may say, the US Constitution guarantees his freedom of speech. If a "gag" order is issued on him, he should not play along and pretend that such BS is legal.
