Nationwide please. It's toxic poison and most of us know it.

Falcneddie • 2 months ago

Been hearing about this for decades. Better late than never.

November Rose • 2 months ago

Maybe not. Later indicates the damage has already been done.

Between the water and clot shot their plan to dumb down and kill the world seems to be working.

Kountry Bumpkin • 2 months ago

Now every county in the US needs to do the same AND lower the ppb of chromium 6 in drinking water. Chromium 6 is a carcinogenic and causes cancer. Union County NC still has 0.02 - 1.00 ppb of chromium 6 in their drinking water as do most of the US however a few counties in the southwest and west coast have very high levels 5.01 - 10.0 ppb or more. So they may be doing something about them dumbing people down but they're still trying to kill people with cancer.

ComradeAdam • 2 months ago

For around ten dollars anyone can buy a jar of fluoride pills that will last months if they think they need it. Not to mention it is already in our toothpastes. That is an inexpensive and readily available alternative that allows people the choice. So why would cities and states want to spend millions to set up water fluoridation facilities that still cost more money per dose and force that choice upon us? There are many studies that show adverse side effects of fluoride and there are always unknown side effects to chemicals being put into the body, why force it upon us?
We know it's a toxin, but so do they. They know that fluoride can be used to control the population and make us weak and dumb.

ScullyFarnsworth • 2 months ago

The target audience of fluoride in the water is people who do not take care of themselves. They don't go to the dentist regularly. They will not buy fluoride pills. That said, you should not be subject to potentially dangerous chemicals in your water because someone else makes poor choices. I have very poor teeth and am currently missing a couple front ones. This is from drinking soda and tobacco use. I am willing to suffer the consequences of my actions without imposing penalties on others for my poor choices.

JohnnyUtah • 2 months ago

I understand fluoride is a byproduct of aluminum processing and they have to get rid of it somehow.

The Dreaded Beheaded • 2 months ago

In large doses it can be toxic, yes. Drinking too much water is toxic, too.

MAGAMillions • 2 months ago

Unlike water, a very small amount of fluoride is toxic. Ever notice that a tube of fluoridated toothpaste states on the label to call poison control if swallowed? The same exact fluoride-free toothpaste does not contain this warning. The type of fluoride added to toothpaste, sodium fluoride, was marketed in the 1950's as rat poison. Fluoride is extremely neurotoxic makes human sterile and docile. It also calcifies the Pineal Gland, which is the seat of the our connection to the divine in the brain.

It was used in prisons to sedate the prisoners and it seems to work with the general population.

November Rose • 2 months ago

True. I heard a cardiologist claim that drinking too much water can damage the heart.

This reminds me of the saccharine scare back in the 70's which turned out to be total bs. Yes, if you drank 50 cans of diet soda with saccharine a day it would definitely affect you. But who does that?
As Kirk said to Uhura in The Trouble With Tribbles, "Too much of anything, Lieutenant, even love, isn't necessarily a good thing."

HS • 3 weeks ago

about 1 tablespoon of fluoride is the probably fatal dose. It is the most dangerous chemical municipalities deal with. The source is the Phosphate Fertilizer industry which can't dump their waste into lakes, landfills or vent to the air, but they can sell it to your local water municipality to add to your water. There are 100's of studies showing the harm fluoride causes and not a single clinical randomized trial showing effective or safe.

Herb Daniels • 2 months ago

Not even a rational discussion unless you put a SPECIFIC amount of water for the average size body
("too much" varies according to weight)
HOW ABOUT IF YOU DROWN A SIX PACK OF BEER. IS THAT TOO MUCH WATER??
If the answer is no, then 99.9999999% of everybody has nothing to worry about
Water is good your you! Drink plenty is general good health advice

How come fluoride toothpaste isn't safe to swallow but fluoride in water is safe to drink?

santashandler • 2 months ago

Bingo! It isn't. No amount of fluoride is safe.

In addition to the toxic effect of fluoride, don't forget the toxicity of rice, which contains inorganic arsenic, and it is particularly high in brown rice.

The Dreaded Beheaded • 2 months ago

It isn't safe to swallow in large amounts, meaning don't eat the whole tube. It can cause white spots on the teeth to form.

Editing to add that toothpaste has other stuff in it you might not want to chug. Check the ingredients.

I switched to a brand that my dentist usually hands out to patients for free. I hesitate to name the popular brand, but after reading the warnings, I'm going back to my old brand that I've used for decades.

Deb traumaangel • 2 months ago

Crest is the poison of choice for my dentist. I have about 10 give away tubes in my pantry.

MAGAMillions • 2 months ago

It's not safe to even swallow in small amounts. No, it does not mean the whole tube. The label on a tube of fluoridated toothpaste will state to call poison control if swallowed. It does not qualify what the amount of is. If you take the same exact fluoride-free toothpaste, there is not such warning on the label. The type of fluoride added to toothpaste, sodium fluoride, was marketed as rat poison in the 1950's.

When we were kids, it was safe and "a normal home remedy" to rub a congested kids' entire chests with Vick's VapoRub [Mentholatum Ointment in those days], and then, give the child a teaspoon sized dollop to swallow.

I'm 70, and still here... go figure...

ps...And, as a Fluoride kid growing up in the 50's-60's,,,,, guess what. I still have ALL my own teeth...go figure...

Foxtrot-Juliet-Bravo!! • 2 months ago

I see two complete MORONS down thumbed your historical post. WTF is wrong with you people?
You down thumb a comment that is simply relating "how things were", and is PURELY historic in nature? Why? Because you self-important FOOLS disapprove of something that occurred 60+ years ago? Then, I see one of you is also a little COWARD who hides his own posts like a SNAKE in the grass. pfft! Morons!

πŸ‘ Yup.

Fluoride is a poison. Period. It's a lie that it helps with tooth decay. If it did help, then why would a 4 year old need to have a tooth pulled?

The Dreaded Beheaded • 2 months ago

Who drinks tap water? Gross.

November Rose • 2 months ago

Our tap water has hard chemicals in it to the point the faucets actually form a white glaze around the base and the handles which is likely calcium, supposed to be important for bone health. So if people drink enough of it, one would expect they'd never suffer from fractures, spinal issues, arthritis or osteoporosis. Obviously, we've been misinformed.

I've had a soda habit since age 5 (I'll only admit to over 60 now, not how much over though), occasionally I'll switch to tea for a few days but basically my whole life has been daily Dr Pepper for over 50 years & my teeth are just fine thank you. Soda is not the villain every time.

FXDX • 2 months ago

fluoride in water is even worse for you if you boil it

Put that in your pipe • 2 months ago

Well, that's because boiling away significant amounts of water doesn't take the fluoride with it, so it concentrates.

The Dreaded Beheaded • 2 months ago

Because mommy didn't brush his teeth.

MAGAMillions • 2 months ago

Exactly. Fluoride also makes teeth more brittle because it hardens them. Drinking fluoridated water and using fluoridated toothpaste makes tooth fractures more likely.

it's a naturally occurring mineral, and it is not a lie that it helps with tooth decay. Four years old's that are given sugary drinks, candy etc, easily develop tooth decay. Most kids don't start losing their teeth until 5 or 6.

Jane Tanner • 2 months ago

fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral. Many studies prove it helps with tooth decay. Four year old's given sugary drinks, even excessive amounts of juice can easily develop tooth decay. Most kids don't lose their baby teeth until they are 5 or 6. I get taking it out of the water but would certainly use fluoride in toothpaste, especially with little kids.

MAGAMillions • 2 months ago

yes, calcium fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral. The type of fluoride that's added to the drinking supply, sodium fluoride (marketed in the 1950's as rat poison) and hydroflurosalicylic acid, are not naturally occurring forms and are a toxic waste generated by the ammonium phosphate fertilizer industry. The largest data set over several decades comparing occurrence of dental carries (cavities) in countries that fluoridate their water versus those that don't, show no reduction in tooth decay by fluoridating water. To your point, diet makes the biggest difference in preventing tooth decay. Personally, I would not give fluoridated tooth paste to my child, when there are safe alternative such as nano hydroxy apatite.

Jane Tanner • 2 months ago

my kids are grown, I'm grown we have good teeth, I still you Crest. Have a good Tuesday.

I am a retired dental hygienist who KNOWS fluoride should ONLY be
applied topically because of the damage to IQ it does when taken
internally.

My mother is 81 and up till recently (nasty fall) she had the best teeth her dentist ever saw. She doesn't drink fluorinated water, doesn't use commercial toothpaste, brushes with baking soda or bentonite clay, and flosses several times a day.

I credit her awesome teeth with her drinking well water and lots of milk when she was a kid. I wasn't so lucky... tetracycline, fluoride, and I hated milk.
