No tears! That's what you get supporting blue swastika violence!
Hopefully they'll off a producer! This propaganda conditioning program needs to be cancelled nationwide!

I credit it with prompting me to take a second look at how cops operate. I used to watch it now and then until I couldn’t take the unconstitutional crap any more. The cops would drive around, pass some people doing absolutely nothing wrong, and suddenly go into combat mode. I’m watching this garbage going, “Don’t they have to have some kind of reason to go running after people like that? Those guys were standing in a doorway. The horror.” Or, “Really? A turn signal? You’re pulling people over for that shit?” Meanwhile the implication of the show is, Behold these hard-charging pro-active blue heroes! I had to stop watching. Then I started reading, and now I know why my automatic reaction was skepticism about how much alleged good was being done, because there was virtually none.

Don't become what you hate.

I'm on the side of not cheering for someone's senseless death. Hatred and anger and frustration are powerful emotions that can effect positive change... but NOT if you use them as an excuse to act exactly like the ones you fear and despise.

In that spirit, I take back what I said about your mother and apologize for it.

?!

Well, you don't cheer a person's senseless death like that. It brings out an ugly side of me - one made entirely out of middle fingers.

Dueling angry irony, apparently.

At worst I think it cancels. At best it indicates We The Cattle are waking up.

Didn't some of the crew from Cops come out saying something negative about people filming police around the time of the Eric Garner case? How people use it to entrap police or something like that.

I'd be willing to bet they (the cops) were thinking, "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! I get to shoot my gun - as many times as I want!" They weren't "returning fire;" there was no fire directed at them. I'll bet too they would start shooting if the guy had said, "Bang! Bang!"

They shouldn't be doing that stupid show.

eric schwab • 6 years ago

that show is pure pro state propaganda. The police have complete final editorial discretion and the police are always perfect. Shows/Movies like The Shield or Trainin Day are cloeser to the truth.

See, now that's how you do it. There's no shame in not giving a fuck.

Dooley Knoted • 6 years ago

Precisely! In the 30 plus years on the air; not ONE person has gotten away, have they?

Awesome, "Jones". My last band was named "Hubris", 23 years ago, not the recent Swedish phenoms - T-Shirts & jeans instead of cop outfits. But I like your idea better... "Gross Negligence". Way more apropos. For most of us, including me.
