Linsay has his eyes wide open at this time cause he doesn’t have McCain in his ear but no, GOD could have been nominated and Shumer would not have approved cause he has his head up the Soros’s ass’s too far and that includes Bloomberg ! Shumer and Pelosi must go !!!

Lampman • 5 years ago

Lindsay should have awoke like this during the presidential primaries.

veritasycandor • 5 years ago

Graham needed to wait for his mentor McStain to be underground. Now he is liberated

Jules • 5 years ago

Was never that big a fan of Graham...but I have to admit, I'm changing my mind. Anyone who will stand up for our Constitution has my vote!
SCOTUS was never designed to answer to the public. It's allegiance is to the US Constitution, not to the mob that yells the loudest!

oilfield7550 • 5 years ago

Notice the grimace on liberal anti-Trump Chris Wallace's face when Lindsey made his excellent comments.

The Help • 5 years ago

Lindsay is GRANDSTANDING, there has never been a SCOTUS niminee list by Democrats or Republicans that would be OK by the opposing party. The only opposing party vote for the nominee comes from Senators like Joe Manchin, who is Democrat representing a Red leaning state and is facing a tough upcomming election.
That being said atleast when a nominee had serious questions about his/her background both parties backed away from the nominee.
McConnell's fight to appoint Kavanaugh was un-neccessary because Trump has a list of 8 other candidates and could have easily replaced Kavanaugh with one of them.

FreeThinkingPatriot7 • 5 years ago

Baloney. Ruth Ginsberg was approved 96-3. Sotomayer 68-31. Kagan was 63-37. That has been the norm until the past 2 years.

Read some history once in a while before you embarrass yourself.

The Help • 5 years ago

Ruth fits into the total narrative of the historicle narrative of the Senate supporting the selection of the President.
However there has been dissent at times, two selections of President Nixon did not garner enough votes to be appointed.
As for your list
Kagan received only 5 Republican votes or 12% of the Republican Senate and Sotomeyer received 8 republican votes or 20% of the Republican Senate, so my statement is backed up by the vote.
12% or 20% is NOT and endorsement by Republicans of a Democratic Presidents nominee list.
The majority of Supreme Court Justices did have little issue with the Senate vote.
It appears that except for Thomas who was also accused of sexual assault the last easy appointment to the Supreme Court was Roberts in 2005 from that point on it has been a political dog fight.

PS: Learning a little math also helps.

Graham is GRANDSTANDING.

FreeThinkingPatriot7 • 5 years ago

You aren’t The Help, you need help.

The Help • 5 years ago

IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE LEFT?????????
You insult me with your easily disputed cherry picked facts telling me to read history before I embarrass myself, then when I use your facts to back my argument you turn to the always last resort Republican Trumpian response, another insult.

Flyover_Country • 5 years ago

Once "No Name" exits the scene Senator Graham is no longer a cuck. Good for him.

Rich Farmer • 5 years ago

Please don't call this "Trump's list" of judges. This is a list made by one partisan conservative advocacy group.

08hayabusa • 5 years ago

Seeing as only the President can pick SC Jurists then any list put forth would be his list Prog.

LOL! You people are ridiculous.

Rich Farmer • 5 years ago

Seeing as how Trump takes credit for everything that's been handed to him on a silver platter in his life ($413 million inheritance), I guess this is no different.

Ralloh • 5 years ago

Wow, your head is really jammed up there isn't it.

Rich Farmer • 5 years ago

Which part confuses you?

Old_School_Conservative53 • 5 years ago

Any response from Chuckie? Of course not.

Jay • 5 years ago

Actually Lindsey you're wrong about winning the White House means you get to put people on the Supreme Court because as long as the opposite party holds the Senate it might never happen. Remember a couple of guys named Obama and Garland?

freeinpa • 5 years ago

The Kavanaugh confirmation is a re-make of Hillary losing the election screaming tears and melting down. And now they are pushing the same misguided arguments of senators in lower population states voted for his approval similar to the Electoral College vote.

Maybe they should spend less time whining and maybe learn how this country and its government was set up and more importantly why.

Bruiser in Houston • 5 years ago

Have we heard from Schmuck Schumer yet?

Leo • 5 years ago

Lindsey will be Pence’s running mate

Adam • 5 years ago

If that happens, it will be a double RINO ticket....and if they get elected...well,..____________________ anyone out there, feel free to fill the blank.

McStain dies and in his will Lindsey got his balls back.

tonylion • 5 years ago

If we've learned anything these past two years,
especially these past two weeks,

debating the dems is a complete waste of time.
Advance the Trump agenda and to hell with the democrats.

Craig B. • 5 years ago

The sad truth is the Dems are already creating new, unprovable, and undefendable fictions against every name on that list, so no more will get their chance at a nomination.
President Trump will have to nominate RBG's replacement from off of that list.

PV Maro • 5 years ago

People speculating on the timing of Professor Ford's therapy session suggest that they were preparing to attack Kavanaugh with these allegations if he had been nominated by President Mitt Romney Justice Kavanaugh's name had been mentioned during the 2012 campaign as a possible Supreme Court nominee.

So I have no doubt that you are correct, the Dems are assembling (or adding to) the dossiers of false allegations for all of these fine jurists.

However, I can't see President Trump backing down one little bit.

colleenf • 5 years ago

And gave Chris Wallace a good lesson....a never Trumper was made uncomfortable. Good.

MaxAmoeba • 5 years ago

The insane Left cannot survive a generation with a Conservative court and they know it, this is why they are panicked. Much thanks to Lindsey Graham 2.0 and Susan Collins, two Senators I never though I'd ever respect. Still, we cannot rest, we cannot give an inch...November is coming and we MUST deliver a knock down blow in the form of a Red Wave.

CJL_1976 • 5 years ago

Does Graham really want to go this route?

I remember the POTUS nominating a judge and the Senate DIDN'T even vote.

IMO, the country, as a whole, is slightly lean left. It evens up a little bit when you consider the makeup of the states. However, the Democratic Party has won the popular vote in 6 of the 7 Presidential elections. The vast majority of new registration are for Democrats and less people identify with the Republican Party.

Graham is spiking that football a little too early. You got your two originalist judges. Enjoy it. Roe v Wade is toast, but you aren't destroying liberal and progressive values, you are only causing more enthusiasm for those values.

Guest • 5 years ago
CJL_1976 • 5 years ago

Why? Biden rule? Senate tradition? Let the people have a voice? The parties must align (WH and Senate)?

Which one is it?

PV Maro • 5 years ago

Roe v Wade isn't going anywhere in our lifetimes. And if leftist values consist of supporting the dismemberment of human fetuses, then I would suggest that there is something deeply wrong with such a values system.

CJL_1976 • 5 years ago

"And if leftist values consist of supporting the dismemberment of human fetuses"

They do? I don't support that...do you think I do because I fall on the left side of the political spectrum?

PV Maro • 5 years ago

So the dismemberment of human fetuses is just one issue among the many dozens of platform planks for you?

CJL_1976 • 5 years ago

There isn't a single issue that is going to change my values. The funny thing is here is that I am against selling fetal tissue.

This should be pretty easy since Republicans are in the majority. Make a law that prohibits the sale. Isn't the law right now that clinics can sell them up to a certain price or something. If it doesn't pass, then that is our system.

PV Maro • 5 years ago

Did you watch the interview? Graham said that SINCE 1880, NO Supreme Court nominee has been confirmed during an election year when the President and the Senate Majority are from different parties.

What the Republicans did in 2016 by refusing to schedule hearings and a vote on Merrick Garland merely followed a long-standing tradition maintained by BOTH PARTIES.

All you guys had to do was win the 2016 election to get your nominee confirmed. The people decided.

CJL_1976 • 5 years ago

"Since 1880...."

That is absolutely a very unique situation. How many times have the President and Senate be different parties AND a SC Justice die/retired in an election year?

I am fine with that being the precedent, but arguing that the "people" should have a say doesn't hold up when we are getting ready to have a freaking national election in 4 weeks and they DON'T have a say.

All I am saying is that the rules are set.....NOW. The President can nominate in years 1-3, but not in year 4. The mid-term election has NO say. Got it.

Just as long as it stays that way...I am fine. I will lose my mind if one of these Senators tries to say the opposite in...say 10 years.

PV Maro • 5 years ago

Check your reading comprehension. Let's try this again.

The tradition is:
WHEN THE PRESIDENT AND THE SENATE MAJORITY ARE FROM DIFFERENT PARTIES, THEY DON'T VOTE TO CONFIRM.

Clearly, in THIS case, the Senate and the Presidency are controlled by THE SAME PARTY.

NOW do you understand?

CJL_1976 • 5 years ago

I am clearly trying to check my reading comprehension, so why don't you point me to the exact point in the article that states that is the tradition?

Here is tradition....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

As you can see, it ISN'T tradition ('87, '90, '91). If it is a NEW tradition, I want to hear a Senator say that exactly.

Adam • 5 years ago

Senator Graham looks like he is a pure solid conservative defender and is solidly against the democrat sector.

Does any of you out there are swallowing his acting?
Lindsay Graham, and others need to be removed.

Everyone is very well aware of this.
Trump is surrounded by enemies, we the people, are too.

President Donald Trump is surrounded by enemies.most of them if not everyone else around him are a pack of hypocrites.

Sold-out / RINO type republicans are now around the man [Donald Trump ] pretending to be inclined to work with him for the benefit of our country...when in reality they want to present that image of patriotic conformism in order to get the closet possible for at the most insignificant, an smallest opportunity they will strike a fulminant backstab against Trump....and we all know who they are,...President Trump also know who they are.

There are two types of republicans;..RINOs ,and solid true-core patriot conservatives.

The Washington political construct, is loaded with the first kind mentioned, the GOP is infected with that kind. and so we do have McConnell, Ryan, Collins, Rubio, Cruz, Sloan, Murkowski ,including Pence the VP ...and the rest;...Lindsey Graham is one of those.

That kind of republicans along with their socialist-communist inclined anti-American democrat sector are against President Trump and against the American community.

Those are the enemies of Donald Trump, and since we the American public selected, elected and trusted Donald Trump for the presidential platform , we also have them as enemies of us, as well.

We, the people, the American electorate, the patriots, we have a responsibility;... we should and must take over the task to remove them all, when time to re-elect comes.

Let's put it simple with a small example, from just few days back;....
RE - [ GRAHAM WANTS PROBE OF FEINSTEIN’S HANDLING OF BLASEY FORD ALLEGATIONS ]
https://dailycaller.com/201...

This is so counter-reality ,because, Graham, and Feinstein are two in the same plot;....however we all know what Graham is trying to do, right?....to pose as a hero-avatar before the American electorate.....so he should be able to preserve his political platform.

Lindsay Graham, is a master opportunistic;....everyone knows he is putting up a show....a very cheap one that nobody could swallow.

Mr Graham is crafty, very very crafty ,...is using this Kavanaugh very dynamic event in order to regain credibility from the voters,...with expectations to preserve his political platform.

This man , Lindsay Graham must be removed from his political platform.

Clear everyone on this?

PV Maro • 5 years ago

Sorry, but this was not an act. On some future vote, Senator Graham may once again jump to the other side, but on this one, his anger was genuine and is service to the Republic was immeasurable.

I'm grateful to him, and to Senators Collins and McConnell. They drive us crazy, but on this one thing, they showed both resolve and dignity in the face of the howling mob.

TannerBoyle • 5 years ago

McStain is dead so there's no need to satisy to him anymore.

Adam • 5 years ago

Evidently Mr Graham performance was good enough to convince you ,...so he got your vote ;....probably other out there are in the same predicament, as well.

So if his 'no act' is good enough for you ,then, by all means, go with it.

When you , and the others believers re-elect him along with others RINOs, that may be as successful, and convincing as he was for you,...and start to "work together" with / for the socialist-communist oriented anti-American democrat sector again, then his "explanations" may be still good enough, in order to get re-elected over, and over, and over...until he pass away.

Have a great day.

PV Maro • 5 years ago

I might give the matter more thought if I were from South Carolina. But I won't actually be in a position to vote for or against Senator Graham.

Adam • 5 years ago

It matters not if you were from the another galaxy,...you understand very well,so,... no need to hide in irrelevant details, semantics or otherwise.
