There are several questions that must be asked regarding this person who, probably more than Putin, regards the collapse of the USSR as the greatest tragedy of the twentieth century:
(1) Who recommended his employment in the CIA?
(2) Why was he given such a pass?
(3) Who was responsible for his rise through the ranks since the 1980s?
(4) Why was he recommended for selection to the directorship?
(5) How extensive is this obvious rot in the Central Intelligence Agency?

the great kazoo • 5 years ago

Brennan should go under the microscope.
The crooked web of swamprats who helped his rise should be rooted out of Langley along with all his acolytes.

Bill Diebold • 5 years ago

A microscope? you can see this blithering idiot at 100 yards at midnight with no moon. His intellect is darker than the absence of all matter.

kdetroit • 5 years ago

Haul them in front of congress and when they lie about being communists, as the democrats have done for about 40 years, do gestapo raids on their homes in the middle of the night. Good for the goose stepper right?

kdetroit • 5 years ago

HUAC! HUAC! HUAC!

Napier's Gallows • 5 years ago

And today, the chattering classes are aghast that Trump seems to be siding with Putin against "his" "own" intelligence services. No Shinola, Sherlock.

justhinkin • 5 years ago

I agree. Brennan and the rest have lied to us for years. From the sell out of GI's in Vietnam to the ridiculous embroglio of Afghanistan.

jgp44 • 5 years ago

Why do you think Brennan (et al) are protesting so much?
Because they are the ones with something to hide. Misdirection works against the simpleminded and mindless media.

RRdemocrat • 5 years ago

He is so filled with rage and fear that he's become overtly unhinged.

He's a totalitarian-minded thug who's power was unfettered in the IC. He resents his lack of ability to continue delivering partisan justice under the law.

Kpar • 5 years ago

As to what he has to hide: there are repeated reports (seriously under-reported) that he traveled to Moscow in January 2016, did NOT meet with the Russian Foreign Ministry, but with the FSB, successor to the KGB.

As DCI, that is, perhaps, understandable, but it has been suggested- if not actually stated- that he received the infamous Trump Dossier directly from them. After showing said document to that arbiter of Truth, Harry Reid, Brennan felt the need for a cutout to disseminate it to the press.

Enter GPS Fusion and Christopher Steele.

Even Fox News seems reluctant to press on this story.

Why?

Allen Richards • 5 years ago

In fact the more he rages the more it is apparent Trump is really having an impact on these turds.

Kpar • 5 years ago

I agree. I was not a Trump fan at first, but you can tell a lot about a man by the enemies he makes.

And he enrages people I despise. GO TRUMP!

2nrvus • 5 years ago

It's Psychological Projection. His ego must defend itself by denying his own misdeeds and by accusing others of those same actions. It's a protective mechanism used by so many in the Obama administration they need a Psychiatrist on speed dial.

bobmailno2 • 5 years ago

The media are complicit in this.

Wisest Owl • 5 years ago

Don't forget Korea of 70 years ago and Iraq.

Wisest Owl • 5 years ago

Who has lied to Trump the mosf? US Intelligence or Putin? What do these Talking Pissants of the Media think he should have done - challenge Putin to a Battle of the NUKES? Idiots!

OlePerfesser • 5 years ago

The IC workers (analysts, information collectors, etc.) are truly great. But the "Intelligence Services" of Brennan, Clapper, Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, maybe Wray, and so many political, non-intelligence types are no more, no less trustworthy than Putin.

Magic Sam • 5 years ago

Maybe someday those who planned and pulled off 9/11 will be brought down. It all ties in with Tel Aviv who are the Pentagon, the CIA, global pedophilia, massive bank fraud, EU, Crown and actual Nazis (one in the same) whose real plan was to steal land from the poor in Britain and Europe. None of the British castles were harmed in that operation.

Jacobite2 • 5 years ago

Nothing new here, During WW II, Soviet agents and spies were everywhere from the Oval Office to the elbow of the chief of the O.S.S. The O.S.S. was so riddled with Communists spies that the FBI wouldn't cooperate with them. Neither would the military intelligence. Commie Brennan at the CIA -- I'll see that and raise with Abe Fortas and Arthur Goldberg, both identified by US Intelligence as security risks during WW II, and both ending up on the Supreme freakin' Court..

swampfox67 • 5 years ago

It was common knowledge that Eleanor especially and FDR to a point, admired the Soviet Union.
FDR basically "gave" E. Europe to the Soviets.
Patton was killed in very strange circumstances as he strongly demanded the USA beat the Russians into Berlin

Jacobite2 • 5 years ago

Helen of Troy had a face that launched a thousand ships, and Eleanor had a face that stopped a thousand clocks. And she was a Lesbian. In other words, a perfect Leftist. Although as an 'Old Yorker' Roosevelt should have hated Yankees, evidently he'd been won over to their superior-to-Americans attitude, and that made him a perfect dupe for the anti-Americans in his Administration, like Morgenthau, White, and Hopkins. Patton's unforgivable sin was to refuse to de-Nazify his area of occupation in Bavaria, because the Army of Occupation lawyers (many Jews from Washington, with magic commissions) were filling every vacancy with Communists. Although he was immediately dismissed, by '47 all these 'immigres' (as they were called) had to be rotated back to CONUS to avoid a revolt among the Germans, and because they were sabotaging the USAREUR recovery policy, because the Reds objected to it. Jews in the US were sabotaging US policy also -- organizing boycotts of German products when the US was trying desperately to get the economy going again. Just as today, America's most dangerous enemies were right here at home.

Mark Volker • 5 years ago

"The unforgivable sin of Hitler's Germany was to develop a new economic system by which the international bankers (Jews) were deprived of their profits."

-Winston Churchill

Jacobite2 • 5 years ago

This is a pretty strange quote from a guy who, for his entire life, was in hock to Jewish bankers up to his eyeballs. The only change the Nazis made in the German economic system (specifically private and investment banking) was to order Jews (who controlled such banking before 1933) to get out. Not that this was a minor change.

Allen Richards • 5 years ago

Yes FDR was a tool no doubt that caused more problems than not. His wife likewise was a real .... never mind but the left still worship him.

kdetroit • 5 years ago

And if you believe he's the only commie in the left wing government, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. How did he rise so high so fast? He refused to take the oath on the Bible. I guess they have to paint themselves purple, jump up on the piano and start singing communism is here again for us to notice.

The obvious rot in the CIA goes all the way back to FDR and Wild Bill Donovan's OSS. Truman was totally incapable of dealing with that depth of perfidy (and he believed they were Democrats so it was sort of OK if they were also treasonous), and subsequent presidents just tried to "manage" it. It remains corrupt, ineffective, and treasonous to the core.

FreeSpeechIsDead • 5 years ago

One of my thoughts during the Obama administration was it was odd that we were heading more toward the communist model while Russia was going the other way. At least, it seemed that way to me. But going back to Putin, the hacking and the election. My biggest fear with Clinton was she would start a war with Russia in Syria. Remember she wanted to put a no-fly zone over Syria, a historical Russian ally ? Where do you think that would have led ? The thing is about that entire area in northern Syria it is all about natural gas and pipelines. What is going on now in the world, the international power structures are changing because of having what we thought in the past was a shortage of oil and natural gas that we would run out soon and those supplies had to be protected and fought over. Now we have an abundance and the 'war' as it were is about getting that oil/gas to markets so in that respect, it's the exact opposite of what it was for the past 50 years. This explains Russia's behavior, and ours. We are competing for markets, mainly the European market, for natural gas and for us now, shale oil from south Texas that can't be refined here because it's closer to Saudi light crude that the European refineries are set up to refine. US refineries are set up for WTI high sulfer content crude. So once again, it's all about oil/gas, but from a totally opposite perspective.

Come&TakeIt • 5 years ago

Communists have been in the CIA going all the way back to its creation. Hard to believe, but it's true.

All the more reason the CIA and FBI need to be abolished.

ImSkeptical2 • 5 years ago

You, and your 71 likes, seem to have forgotten all of the people those on the right now admire for having switched sides.

Allen Richards • 5 years ago

Good point. To vote for Gus Hall in the 70's meant a real commitment to the cause. Unless you were a non-serious person. Brennan tells this story because at the time it gave him the cover to pass the test and now since being an old commie is a badge of honor among progressives.

dave • 5 years ago

Then you are an easy mark!

Richard Haden • 5 years ago

I guess the fact that Brennan is not now, nor ever has been a communist, make any difference to you. It is remarkable how the paranoid fringe will invent stories to back up hateful spin that is evoked by anyone who tells the truth about Trump, the cult leader.

tbmbuzz • 5 years ago

So Brennan is not a card carrying member of the Communist Party. What a pathetically stupid argument. Brennan is an extreme unhinged leftist. What the hell is the difference?? If it walks like a duck.... Apparently you consider reality a dirty 4-letter word. [roll eyes]

Richard Haden • 5 years ago

Back in 1976, many people were disgusted with watergate and the two party system, so they cast protest votes for small parties. Brennan did that...

That you fail to understand what a protest vote is, makes you a useful idiot for the GOPer propaganda machine whose strategy is to sustain lies, not what is good for anyone.

As for you conflating Communism with being on the left of center, just reflects the ignorance of the right wing fringe.

Allen Richards • 5 years ago

Were you voting at this time? I was and I can assure you there was no substantial Communist protest vote in the '70's unless you were a leftist radical. That is why Gus only received 58K+ votes. Regardless of Watergate. Please spare the weasel-like explanation.

Richard Haden • 5 years ago

Brennan is a good man, he sees a Trader in Trump. Over half the country does too. Even Putin knows Trump is a trader.

Brennan has made a career at the CIA defending US interest yet you people are on Trump's Putin express.

Napier's Gallows • 5 years ago

Anyone who voted for Gus Hall has to fall into one of two categories:
1. A communist.
2. A "useful idiot"
So, which is it?

Kenneth Vincent Dabish • 5 years ago

A useful idiot Communist

Richard Haden • 5 years ago

Back in 1976, many people were disgusted with watergate and the two party system, so they cast protest votes for small parties. Brennan did that...

Allen Richards • 5 years ago

You simply can't help but repeat your silly nonsense. Brennan was either an idiot or was a dedicated communist. People just didn't vote that way back as evidence by the fact he received just over 58k. If you had grown up during the Cold War you just didn't vote for the CPUSA. Unless you were a member of the party of a variety of hard core radical leftists groups. He only admitted it because he needed to provide cover for a larger lie.

Richard Haden • 5 years ago

Brennan is a good man. What happened to you people? You all seem determined to destroy anyone who tries to intervene in Trump's treasonous escapades.

Napier's Gallows • 5 years ago

Yeah, because Nixon, Carter, Ford, the Republicans and Democrats were all SO MUCH worse than Stalin-loving Gus Hall and the CPUSA. Grow up. And a pair.

Richard Haden • 5 years ago

A protest vote is cast for someone who will lose, genius. Brennan and others who have cast protest votes do not want that candidate to win. But you people can't wrap your conservative brain around much more than sustaining the usual communist conspiracies.

The point being that Brennan is write about Trump. Even a real communist would acknowledge that Trump is on Putin's side.

Napier's Gallows • 5 years ago

So of all the crank third-party candidates an idiot could choose for throwing away his vote, Brennan just "happened" to pick Gus Hall of the CPUSA. Yeah, "write".

Allen Richards • 5 years ago

exactly ... Gus Hall was the face of an openly hostile anti- American organization that supported our enemy for 3 decades. You don't just wake and say "hey maybe that Gus Hall has a point!"

Richard Haden • 5 years ago

Yea, now you catching on.

Allen Richards • 5 years ago

Blah -Blah -Blah ... keep repeating the lie and you will soon believe it. Brennan is "write " about Trump? This tells me you are as crazy, non-serious and childish as Brennan

Richard Haden • 5 years ago

The Trump cult will soon be headquartered in Moscow.
