i've never made hot chocolate from scratch. Clever to add the candy cane too.. Got to be generous with the marshmallows

This really makes such a cute gift. I have made plain hot cocoa for myself, usually adding coffee to i t to make a mocha.

I realize it's past Christmas time to make these but I think these would still be cute for Valentine's Day! My mom used to make hot cocoa from scratch (she did everything from scratch!) and I remember she used to shave candy canes to sprinkle on top.
