Supposedly, she will be in season 3, a bit like in the GGO arc, as a moral supporter for Kazuto. I really think they'd do that, since if they cut Asuna completely out of a season, they'd be loosing half the fan base. *SPOILERS AHEAD* They didn't use her much in SAO II, but those final episodes with Yukki, that kid, really revived her character for me.
