Thanks for the post! Are you still using this rig?
i am! but i have a 9800x3d w/ a b850 and new ram that i'm planning to swap in this weekend.
I'm currently building a system with a 9950X and a 4080 FE and have run into some issues. I'm starting to wonder if choosing this case was a mistake. Then I came across your article and thought that you have awesome cable management.
ahh, that's nice of you to say! honestly i'm more of a stuff the cables until they fit kind of person, but it worked out in this case luckily enough for me. honestly i love this case and and i think you can make it work, but there are some compromises as exist with most small-form factor cases.
the angled 12VHPWR adapter is non-negotiable imo. i think it could maybe be stuffed with the included power cable but i wouldn't risk it with all the risk of these sockets lighting on fire. SFX-L is possible, but i'd make things easier and do SFX.
things can get harder with different AIOs with different sized hoses. honestly i think the EK basic is perfect for this case (i tried a few) but unfortunately it's not made anymore. i'm not sure what i'd choose if i bought a new AIO.
good luck with your build!
What is this? A case for ants?
yes
I'm having the same problem with my 4090 (MSI GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING X SLIM 24G)! The screen is black and the graphics card fans are running at maximum speed. Why didn't the "LINKUP cables" help? They work perfectly with Dual Reverse Connectors. I want to solve this problem with the best solution. I look forward to your reply, thank you!
