Perhaps Jorge B. is cozying up to the UN so that when he retires he can throw in his candidacy for the job of General Secretary of the UN. That's what most socialist world leaders do when they leave politics voluntarily or not. See current GS, Antonio Guterres, ex-president of Portugal. Seems like the Holy See is now the fund raising arm of the UN?

God bless Africa. The best, by a long mile, sermon I have ever had the pleasure to hear was from a young african priest from Mozambique at my uncle's funeral mass. The faith of the africans will save them from the evil coming from the outside.

The pope is an intelligent man, but it seems he supports evil.

Fatima in Twilight • 4 years ago

This pope is not an intelligent man

sunzeneise • 4 years ago

Bergoglio is a Peronista, a fascist Argentine.

sg4402 • 4 years ago

The pope may be clever---but he is not wise.

st Jerome • 4 years ago

No, he isn’t very smart, especially for a Jesuit.

sg4402 • 4 years ago

Don't you think he intends to destroy the Church of our Fathers, and is going about it with a certain adroitness? As you compare him to the average Jesuit, I think you are mixing education with base intelligence. The man really knows what he is doing, and the enterprise is large.

Mrs. Diogenes • 4 years ago

I understand he was under psychoanalysis for three years.

It shows.

where do you get intelligent from???

Ordo Iuris was one of those pro-life voices in the Nairobi conference.

Please support them in their wonderful work.

pamino • 4 years ago

Another know-all Vatican II excrescence.
Either ‹ORDO IVRIS› or ‹Ordo Juris› ; medium non datur.

Remnant Moderator • 4 years ago

Indeed. Interesting how the Vatican's "courageous" stand was officially based solely on Nairobi's alleged lack of official UN blessing and due process. Maybe they should tell that to the Deputy Secretary General of the UN, who kicked off of the entire Nairobi Summit in person and with fulsome praise and unqualified support.

Michael - Please keep fighting, keep educating, keep talking; GREAT WORK!

petitemouse • 4 years ago

If this is true. I am so grateful. I returned to the Catholic
Church because it seemed to be the last safe refuge from
the lefts' devilish plans for society.
-I have read the Catechism and am impressed
with the beliefs. I don't see how the Pope can
continue to support a global agenda. Praying.

pamino • 4 years ago

We have got to a stage where even our former persecutors seem sympathetic. petitemouse’s “the left's devilish plans for society” rang a bell in me:
O Lord our God arise,
Scatter her enemies
And lay them low;
Confound their politicks,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On Thee our hopes we fix,
God save us all!

Kiwi Trad • 4 years ago

Yes, I turned to the Church after being Protestant all my growing years. And when I was exposed to the Latin mass for the first time (never heard of it before) I could see through the Novus Ordo straight away. One thing I have learned in my journey is that we do need to have good shepherds watching over us. (Religious) As I heard recently, if the devil cannot push us to the right he will push us to the left!

Another outstanding report. God bless you and please keep up the good work.

susanna • 4 years ago

God bless and keep you, Kenyan Bishops.

Maria • 4 years ago

I would rather read the Holy Goals Epistles than the Sustainable Goals Document. P Fr should read them, he might learn something or better yet, have a "spiritual" enlightenment.

GAM41 • 4 years ago

Mr. Matt,

Referring to Bergoglio as the "HOLY" father is an obscenity.

MKDAWUSS • 4 years ago

It's the title Pope Francis holds...

Remnant Moderator • 4 years ago

Lol, yeah ok. But the title wasn’t Mr. Matt's idea. He wasn’t around when they named it the “Holy See”. However, Francis very much seems to agree with you. He’s asked the whole world to call him Jorge. If you want to make up a name for him go right ahead. I’m sure he would much prefer it to Holy Father, which he hates.

pamino • 4 years ago

If you happened to be Hungarian, you could call him György.

Skay • 4 years ago

Your last sentence says volumes to me about Pope Francis.
Thank you for that insite. It actually is not surprising.

st Jerome • 4 years ago

Mr Matt is just honoring the office of the papacy, not necessarily the man himself—in my opinion. That’s what I do at least.

Parrish • 4 years ago

Wonder if Benedict IX hated it also?

Jack Clough • 4 years ago

How's poop frank?

JohnnyCuredents • 4 years ago

Well, now that I know that, it's "Holy Father" for me from now on!

Maria • 4 years ago

I don't know how P Fr can say the Sustainable Goals brings hope....more like it will bring many to hopelessness - maybe not in the beginning as the new excitement of this may bring them to a high or sorts, but in the long run it will bring a huge low. Hope for who? P Fr and his corruptibles? It's certainly not the faithful trads. Anyone buying into this is getting taken in big time - it's not about us - it is all about them! God bless the African Bishops who spoke out - THEY have the faith!! - NOT the hierarchy!! If this continues at the pace it is going, I see it may not be too long before we are silenced through the social network, newspapers, and education or workplaces. One thing they cannot take out of our hearts, is our prayers and love of Jesus.....

horseradish • 4 years ago

I really detest the word sustainable

st Jerome • 4 years ago

Yes!! Progressive buzz words.

pamino • 4 years ago

Easily consecrated into sacred cows.

Elaine M Gardens • 4 years ago

Oh dear, so massive is this agenda. We have a strong President, on the secular side, to push back against this, but if only we had a strong Pope to add force from the religious side. What a counterbalance that would be. Oh well, one can dream. I will pray that the Pope steps down.

The LILY of France • 4 years ago

Quite Right! See you on the battlefield!

Barbara Hvilivitzky • 4 years ago

There is a choice between: Francis really has not read or understood the relevant paragraphs in the Sustainable Goals document, or he has read and understands them, but has decided that a little bit of good (no straws in the ocean!!) is worth a whole s__t-load of evil.

He may be dammed no matter which it is: as Pope he's supposed to know what the hell he's approving, and if he wants to do a little bit of good by allowing evil, he's a goner too. How I wish I could believe this poor Francis is just dumb!

horseradish • 4 years ago

francis is just evil--plainly, period

Wish we had Bishops like them in the UK, the only thing our Bishops talk about including "Catholic Charity" "Cafod" is Global warming, whilst babies are slaughtered in the thousands in the UK every week. Great Video thank you Michael Matt

peter f • 4 years ago

I don't know if it's still the case but a few years ago, Cafod had a pro-abort consultant (allegedly). I asked them about it and they gave a very blah response. After which, they got nowt from me.

Kiwi Trad • 4 years ago

Thankyou Micheal Matt.
Unfortunately Jacinda Ardern and co. are having a field day in NZ bringing forth the UN agendas. The shootings was an event that gave them a platform to instigate all this anti-christ rubbish. There is resistance though. This past weekend there was a pro-life march and rosary in front of parliament buildings and it was televised on the news! That was a shock. If the government get their way there will be unfetted access to abortion and no pro-lifers will be allowed within 150 metres of any clinic. Oh and that little thing called euthanasia. Yep, the government worships their church. The United Nations, and it is a religion, a church.
