I'm sorry, but these people ARE deplorable. For them, it was ok to not address the coronavirus - first because they thought it was only hurting Democrats and then because it hurt black people more than white people. And no way was any federal aid going to blue states because they were in that position because they were irresponsible with their money. But no problem giving aid to red states even though almost 100% of that money comes from those "fiscally irresponsible" blue states. Blue state NY is out of vaccine while red state FL is not? How did the Trump admin disseminate the virus to states? Based on if they voted for Trump?

And what about withholding federal aid to CA during the wildfires because the state did not vote for Trump?

So treating all states and people equal when it comes to all government aid is such a major departure from the last admin. And so much more unified. If they want to complain that we don't want a unified country because we call out racism and don't implement their policies, f--k them. I'd be totally fine exacting revenge and spend all federal funds on blue states, minorities, women's issues, and the LGBTQ+ community and implement policies designed to give poor health care, destroy economic potential, and throw as many Republicans in jail as possible, all while making sure that it is hard for them to vote.

Fortunately for them, neither Biden nor I believe that democracy works like that. So as much as I hate them and would love to exact revenge (which they totally deserve), I believe in democracy more.
