Ok article, nothing new and don’t understand why you keep comparing dogs with humans.

this is so true should be sent to every new dog owner in the world!

It's mostly all common sense which is very uncommon these days.

Always feel a little bit ashamed that my dogs are not trained like others. But on the other hand they are the most relaxed dogs in the area. No one notices that they might not come immediately. Reading all the points, I think, instinctively everything done right. Plus I am lucky to once received two well socialized stray dogs, that learned how to interact with dogs. I trust them and learn from them.
We are a pretty good team, I would say.
Nevertheless I try to learn more about dog training. My future dogs might be different....

I have three big dogs. All three are rescued. One at 10 weeks old and I swear she house trained herslf the first week. The other two at 18 months but 4 years apart. I call them free range, lol. They are my babies, but they are smart. They know basis cues but they are not "trained". I don't think they are furry humans but I think they think they are, lol.

This all makes so much sense to me now that I'm on my 2nd dog.

Disagree a tad on a couple, most so on most dogs not wanting to meet the other dogs, but I haven't done research regarding it, so it's based on my anecdotal observations.

I like to think most of us are humans who love dogs and know they are animals/dogs and not human.
