Hi prolibuddha , are you using the new scripts experience? This script hasn't yet been converted to that standard, if that's what you're using then try turning it off and see if that works.
Hi,
I am using this script which is given above. What should I turn off?
I think this new script.
If you look at the page where the script is in your account, above it you should see a toggle called "New scripts experience". If that's turned on, turn it off and try to run the script again.
Thank you, this is working.
Hi @niNick Partridge , I have 3 questions.
1. I wanted to check if the script takes into consideration search terms that Google marks as "Added" in the Add/Excluded column? For example, if I have a phrase "black shoes" and the search term is exactly that, Google marks this search terms as "Added", but I would like to convert this one into exact match type SKAG.
2. Is it possible to add "all time" period of a campaign into the script if I want to pull out e.g. search terms that had impressions>100 for the entire time of a campaign? I think that at the moment, the script allows max last 30 days.
3. I am not sure if this is something up to Google, but can you check if the script picks up all search terms, because when I choose e.g. last 30 days, imps>10, the script creates SKAGs of some terms, but some that meet this condition remain non-converted.
One more time, thanks a lot for this fantastic script Nick!:)
Hi Stevan Duvnjak:
1. The script will only convert search queries are marked as "None" in the Add/Excluded column, though it wouldn't be hard to expand that to include Added/Excluded keywords, which I may do now that I've just tested that removing a keyword does not return an "Added" search query back to "None" status.
2. I don't believe it's possible to query search query data for "All Time", though it does seem possible to query for X number of days, based on other scripts I've seen - I may add this at some point as it would be quite useful.
3. Do you perhaps have "include_long_queries" or "include_close_variant" set to false? Otherwise I'm not sure why certain queries wouldn't be picked up
Keep the suggestions coming Stevan, I'll get to them eventually :)
Hi Nick Partridge ,
Looks like this could solve my question 2.
var date_range = '20210101,20220131';
Cheers
Hi Nick Partridge , when I choose NOT to add search query into the headline 1, the ad is not created at all. Would it be possible for you to check this, it would be great if there would be the option to leave the ad to look as if from the original ad group. Thanks mate:)
Hi Stevan Duvnjak, could you tell me exactly what other options you have selected? I haven't been able to reproduce the error on my end.
Thanks Nick Partridge!
1. It would be definitely good to include Added ones if possible:).
2. Yes, I also saw it somewhere, I think in AdEvolver's SKAG script. These larger periods would be useful because of lack of data in the new search terms reports.
3. Ah, that might be the case, I will check it:)
Thanks a lot Nick:)
Great script, thanks Nick. Do you think you could add Responsive ads creation into the script, because they are now must? Expanded text ads are going away and this script doesn't create Responsive search ads.
Thanks
Hi Stevan, yes it's on the top of my to-do list for this script, hopefully I'll get to adding responsive ads soon.
Fantastic, that would really make this script just perfect.
I will be checking from time to time this article waiting to see the update:).
Thanks!
Hi Stevan, code's now updated to include responsive ads, hope you find it useful :)
Works perfectly, thanks a lot Nick!
Thank you so much Nick! Eager to test it:)
Cheers!
Hello
I have a problem: " Field "AdFormat" has been deprecated, and will never have a value."
Maybe I set something up wrong?
Thank you for help.
