Will the Sonos One Gen 2 play audio from any website or only those with subscriptions?

I have the gen 2 with Google Assistant to replace google mini for better sound with spotify. major problem is that google assistant on the Sonos will only recognize stop command; all other commands eg 'next track' etc etc it does not recognize which is a major miss. If i knew this I wouldn't have bought it. And Sonos support for this problem/issue is useless.

I wonder if these can be set up as rear surround speakers with the Sonos Playbase as well?

I would just say compare before you buy.

I personally did not care for the sound of the Sonos. It is totally lifeless. Like elevator music.

A pair of wired bookshelf speakers and an inexpensive amplifier sounds much better.

we have the One, 3 and 5 in our home. We love them. Nothing is cooler than hearing your favorite tune in each room as you move about the home. Individual speaker volumes are easy to adjust, and you can play a different tune on each speaker if you like. Far as I'm concerned, they did not need to add Alexa for this to be a great deal. the Sonos app also integrates with PLEX and Mediamonkey as well as our TIVO DVR, making this a great solution for playing ripped and downloaded movies to your TIVO, and playing your digital music collection throughout the home.
