One word....GORGEOUS!

Paulina On the road • 6 years ago

Many thanks Ellen for your sweet comment. Have you been already on Tenerife?

I can absolutely understand why you referred to Tenerife as a hiker's paradise. As a keen hiker and lover of nature, I just loved your stunning photos of this beautiful place. I must get there to experience it myself.

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot Nicole. Tenerife is just so beautiful and has so many things to do. I could just go back anytime! Let me know when you gonna visit this beautiful island :)

I sure will, thank you

Loved these photos, It's been a while since I developed the desire to go to Tenerife but it's too expensive for me at the moment, anyway, loved your photos :)

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot Chiara, I hope that with the photos your wanderlust to travel to Tenerife will become so strong that you just buy that flight ticket ;)

Wow... never heard about this place. The place looks steeped in history, art and culture. Love the architecture and urban art on rocks. Quite an interesting concept.

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot. I also enjoyed the urban art in Santa Cruz. It images are graffitis of famous musicians.

WOW! I've spent a few weeks in Tenerife a few years ago, but I didn't know there were so many hidden gems around.! I went up to El Teide and it was a magical experience. I am planning to spend more time in the Canary islands this summer and if I manage to do so, I will surely make sure to check the other places you mentioned above :)

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot Sabrina. Oh lucky you that you're going to spend some time on the Canary Islands. Do you know already to which island you're heading? I have to admit that at first I thought that those islands would be all about package holidays, but to my surprise it wasn't the case at all. Tenerife had superb nature and has just so many things to do.

Beautiful pictures. It was so difficult for me to pick which picture I like the most. I particularly liked Urban Art in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot Archana. Tenerife is such a beautiful place. And there are so many things to do: hiking, beach, and the food!!

You look so beautiful in the traditional dress. The colors of the dress complements your skin tone. You have good skills in travel photography. Everything looks really good. You have captured excellent spots and don't need to be edited.

Thanks a lot Marissa. I really enjoyed wearing the traditional dress. To my surprise I felt super feminine in it. The colours are so charming :)

The thousand year old tree seems very interesting to me. However, what excites me to visit this island is the airport itself where the historical airline incident happened.

To visit Spain's highest mountain is a reason to visit Tenerife in itself, I love the Instagram pose on this picture too! Those 1000 year old trees are quite unique too, nice capture of the one you took. I'm intrigued as to how the cactus lemonade tastes, is it sweet?

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot. Although I didn't manage to go on the top of Teide mountain, from far it is already an impressive sight. The cactus lemonade was sweet, but no too much. They use the salvia of the tree to make it :)

Love the idea of 25 non-edited photos to express your experience. Tenerife seems to offer a great variety of things to see and do, some great mountains views as well. The Dragontree is really beautiful!

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot. I wanted to keep them not edited to show the real beauty of Tenerife....which is really a nice place to visit.

Probearoundthe Globe • 7 years ago

Wow you really succeeded in showing the most beautiful parts of Tenerife. I only went for 1 day during my 3 months at Gran Canaria, but it looks like it needs a revisit and is worth some extra time.

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot. Yes, Tenerife has so much to offer: hiking, the beach, the good food... I just spent 3 days in Gran Canaria and I would have loved to see more :)

C.J. Haughey • 7 years ago

Some great photos there. The Masca Trail looks enchanting, should I make it to Tenerife that'll be high on my list! I've never heard of cactus lemonade, but I have heard of "cactus juice", which I know is something very different indeed. I may have to investigate this lemonade when I get the chance!

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot. Yes, Masca is definitely the best thing to do, the trek is impressive. The Cactus Lemonade is "cactus juice" mixed with sprite, 7up or sparkling water :)

C.J. Haughey • 7 years ago

The other cactus juice I was referring to is a psychoactive cocktail formed from the peyote cactus. I'm guessing that this is not the same thing! :)

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Ahahaha now I get it :)

Neha Verma • 7 years ago

Beautiful photos indeed. I want to travel infinitely, maybe not every single day. But whenever possible. And your pictures are indeed very inspiring

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot Neha. I am in the same case :) Did you ever returned to a place that you already visited?

Bor Nomadic • 7 years ago

Beautiful pictures. One should definitely visit. Thanks for sharing such beauty!

Paulina On the road • 7 years ago

Thanks a lot. You are right, Tenerife is well worth a visit. From hiking to being on the beach all day, it has so many options.
