Seville is one of the cities in Spain that I've had my eye on. Seeing your photos, it validated why I had this in my bucket list! The moorish architecture is just beautiful. I'm sure it will be as great of an experience as you had!

This 4-star is so luxurious it looks more like a 5-star from your pictures. We would love to stay there and enjoy the quaint town for several days. It sounds like the perfect place to recharge.

Oh yes, it definitely is! I really enjoyed the Moorish-Andalusian fusion in the interior design of the hotel.

Your red dress is beautiful. I haven't been to Seville, much less Carmona but your photos want to make me go. Is it easy to get there via train? Or did you take a car or bus?

Paulina On the road • 2 years ago

Hey Rebecca! You get easily there by bus (form Seville) or by car. If you want to go by car, but you don't own one, I can recommend the app BlablaCar. It's for car-sharing. Please let me know if you made it to Carmona :)

Your pictures are so beautiful, I especially love the garden of prohibited fruits snap. This seems like a picturesque place - I had never heard of it before. Thanks for sharing :)

Yes, Carmona is a true hidden gem! It's the perfect get-away when you're in Seville :)

I love your outfit! It is so pretty. The Carmona looks picturesque based on your photos. It would be so nice just to walk around and explore the town. This is a perfect getaway. I like your photos of the Parador de Carmona. They all look so peaceful and green. The swimming pool is marvelous.

This place looks so luxurious! I had no idea it would be so easy to get away from Seville for the day and enjoy a quiet town:) Definitely next time.

Thanks a lot! Seville has many little villages in its surroundings and some are true hidden gems...like Osuna which was a set in Games of Thrones. I would love to go back and visit them all :)

I went to Seville about 7 years ago and it was my first plane flight. I have fond memories of the few weeks I spent there, but I never made it to Carmona unfortunately. Your photography looks stunning and spinach with chickpeas sounds yummy too!

Thanks a lot. Seville is a great destination and I loved all the little villages around it. If you go back, there'll be many things to visit :)

Wow, what can I say! I'm mesmerized with this 4star hotel. It deserves a 5-star, actually. I love the idea of promenading on their hidden patio.

Yes and their Moorish inspired mudejar style makes it very special. I could have spend much more time there ;)
