A boutique hotel crafted by joining several houses...what a great concept. I am sure it was great interior designing that made it exceptional. And the feeling must have been like living in Luxembourg's royal glory.

Yes indeed, that was also one of my favourite things. Absolutely it gives you this royal feeling... almost like in the Grand-Duke's Palace ;)

I'm totally addicted to boutique hotels and they are normally my first choice whenever I book a trip. This hotel in Luxembourg sounds like the perfect place to relax and explore the beauty of the city. I love the fact that from the outside it doesn't look like a luxurious space, but the interiors are so very special.

Many thanks for your sweet comment. I am a big fan of Boutique Hotels too.. they make you feel at home while being away from home. In case you visit Luxembourg Hotel Le Place d'Armes is a great option if you are into interior design too.

This is such a unique 5 star hotel, typically 5 stars build their premises like really grand from outside but this one looks amazingly cute and the interiors and the facilities define their standard. I love such cute little home style hotels with beautiful interiors and this seems to be a perfect one for me. I hope to stay there when I get to visit Luxembourg :)

Many thanks for your sweet comment. If you want to get pampered Hotel Le Place d'Armes is definitely the place to stay when visiting Luxembourg. And I better don't start talking about the food ;)

Every corner of this property seem to have bee handcrafted to perfection. Love the small details such as the floral motifs on the glass. The skyline surprisingly is free of any modern influences and seem to remind one of a far more innocent era.

That is absolutely right, the architect himself, Jean Beck, took care of every oh so little detail of this property. I can only invite you to come and visit Luxembourg, despite being one of the richest countries of the world it knew how to preserve its natural charm.

What a beautiful little boutique hotel! I love the rough rocky walls juxtaposed against the beautiful rooms. That courtyard is a place I could see myself just hanging out and enjoying where I was. Thanks for sharing!

Many thanks Rachelle for your comment. Indeed it is such a lovely place. A home away from home.

That's a stunning hotel. Thanks for the review. I'm planning to head there in a couple of months. I'll definitely checkout this hotel. Looks so luxurious. 18th C building? I'm a total sucker for heritage hotels and I wouldn't miss checking this out. The cuisines looks yummm...

Many thanks for your sweet comment. You're coming to Luxembourg? Well, if you fancy something with character but with an intricate design, the Hotel Le Place d'Armes will be totally for you. How long will you stay in Lux? I absolutely recommend the hikes and the castles :)

Such a lovely hotel, the interiors done so tastefully. I like the grand fittings and accessories. The stain glass window vanes particularly caught my attention. Simple and elegantly done. I could make a day's tour of Luxembourg, butt I hope to stay in the city some day.

Many thanks for your lovely comment. The colorful windows were also one of my favorite parts... besides the food ;) So cool that you've been in Luxembourg! What has been your favorite part?

I love the colors on the outside of the buildings, so colorful! The food looks really good too. This looks like a beautiful place to stay in!
