For us because we've invested a lot of time customizing our builds through all the 3.x versions to integrate into our Enterprise environment and to be highly resilient and reliable. We are a baremetal shop and have a very fine tuned installation now.

Looks like we will going back to the drawing board and starting from scratch if we want to move to version 4.x ;-(

I have just installed the 4.0 version 0.12 setup today. I am still trying to understand the deployment topology. In the begining I could see some 16 nodes (EC2 VMS) got provisioned but later 10 of them got terminated (after an hour or so) and 6 are left. Is there any deployment topology diagram to compare this with version 3.x.
