there should be something wrong with your download session !
please redownload. and also turn off your AV before extraction.

the files are fine. I downloaded and installed it. Use 7zip to extract the downloaded file, not winrar

Setup(Community Version-downloaded uisng IDM) is throwing error: The source layout directory is too long. The layout directory name must be less then 80 characters.

Change the layout directory name, remove any additional character. Make sure the directory name is less then 80 character where you extract the rar file.

What's the name of this "layout directory", I was found only "layout.json" file.

I had the same problem and copied the installation directory to the root of the hard drive...and it works

Eventually said "Failed-Server Unreachable" after downloading up to 19GB VS Community 2017 over 3days ..... Argh man and data is expensive this side.

Setup is 100% working condition. We had tested it on our server. download link expires within 4 Days. So make sure you had to download it before...

It is possible that during downloading process the rar file got corrupted.

Let me verify this on our server.

We had created the offline installer using cmd from RDP server. Later on we had made the rar file and upload it to our dedicated server.

There a lot, i re downloaded the file with Internet Download Manager and then extracted the file with 7zip and it worked! I appreciate your efforts guys, thanks again. :)

I'm installing it and the package is being installed in program files(x86) folder. There is no separate installer for x64 (like office 365). Is it installing 32 bit?

We had created the offline installer from the CMD using our Dedicated RDP server. There is not any 64bit option availble at the time of creating an offline installer. In future, if there is 64bit available we'll let you know

Hi Admin.
I just downloaded the " Visual Studio 2017 Offline Installer ISO"
I was trying to install it but firstly, it asked me of internet connection, of which I provided for it to work.
Now, It's talking me to the visual studio community full installation page where I can again install all the components which worth another gigabytes.

However, I thought the community offline version I downloaded should be able to install perfectly with its components without any internet connection and re-downloading again.
please anyone should help me out. I'm stuck I don't have extra gigabytes of Data to download again.
What should I do for the offline package I download to work/install perfectly. Do I need additional tools to compile them or what ?
