Does anyone know if Martha is going to have pups? I haven't seen anyone talk about it anywhere and there haven't been any updates from the WCC.

I did see her go into the den recently! Definitely not a sure sign, though. We'd have to see her belly to know for sure!

I haven't seen Martha lately, so I don't know if she's pregnant or not. Paws crossed, though!

FYI: I was in Durham NC yesterday to check on Carolina and Jacque since I'd seen a pic of her with belly fur removed. The exhit is temporally closed but the volunteer guard gave me a thumbs up when I asked about them. Hopefully good news will come in a few days....

Carolina was born here, a child of Moose and Cary. This has been a very special habitat for many pairs: Adeyha & Oak, Martha & Oka.......

Carolina had 5 pups, saw a video on Facebook.

Paws crossed for good news! Carolina and Jacques will be wonderful parents when the time comes, whether that's this year or another year.

Born in Explore the Wild: Red Wolves on May 5, all five pups (two females, three males) are in good health and are currently with their mother Carolina (2293F) in a den in our Red Wolf habitat. Father Jacques (2152M) is keeping watch nearby. Carolina was born here at the Museum in 2019, so this litter is especially exciting for us!

At some places her name is Carolina, at other places her name is Caroline.

The zoo shows her name as Carolina, I am not sure if she was renamed or not.

Yes I think this is their family, Susan Joy would know, she joined here before I was fortunate to see Moose and Salty. But I think this picture is acccurate with their family. When I joined Charlotte still had her pups very young. Deven, Marley, Ben and Maple, they were born in April 2018.

Oh noooo! I had been thinking about Sam and his grown up pup Notch. I had adopted Notch when he was in the enclosure here at WCC. I am so sad, he was an amazing Red Wolf and that is so true he was the best with his and Veronica's pups. I miss them so much. Picture is from WCC when Sam was turning 10 years old.
