Thank you for this tutorial, I adapted it slightly to use it on a Raspberry Pi to secure my PiHole instance but the steps are roughly the same.

This is the best solution to this development problem. It works perfectly and, as far as I can tell, provides an exactly accurate replica of a real world production deployment. I can also imagine valuable variations.
