People think Public Mobile is pay as you go but it's not. You pay at beginning of month. Can only use what you pay for and not be charged for extras. People won't give it a chance because its bring your own phone. They have rewards to drop your bill. Before you assume anything about them ask a customer first.

Freedom is giving customers a new device plus 100gbs on top of the regular 10gbs the plan offers, PM is pay as you go only , no device options and 3gb speeds only lol

Public Mobile isn't pay as you go. It's prepaid meaning pay at beginning of the month but get plans similar to post paid. I know because I'm a PM customer.

Pay as you go and prepaid are same thing lol

Yes but what I mean is it's Pay Monthly (Hybrid Prepaid). It's not traditional pay as you go where you add funds and pay per call, text or data used. It's set up like Telus and Koodo except instead of paying for what you used at end of month you pay at beginning of month and only use what you paid for.

If freedom had equivalent coverage, I'd say you are right. In the meantime, I'd rather have 3mbps anywhere in Canada.

Then again, Public Mobile is using TELUS' network which has been around for 30+ years. Freedom's has only been around for like 10 years. Obviously coverage for Freedom won't be as good when you're comparing with the coverage of a well established network like TELUS' which Public Mobile runs on.

Been with Public Mobile for 4 years now and it's reliable. Don't forget their rewards program. $1 off refer a friend. $2 off auto pay. Up to $20 off just for using community fourms. I have Unlimited talk and text calling to US with 8GB data for $50. Rewards got my plan down to $28.
