Shalom on those who follow divine guidance. If you are a God-fearing Jew or Christian, carefully read my words and contemplate on them. The verse you quoted is about entering murderous political alliances like NATO and IDF. Otherwise, Islam would not allow marrying chaste Jewish-Christian women and eating their kosher food. If you think Islam is oppression, then you are a covert secularist because commandments Torah are more strict and Quran seeks to ease them. Like you cannot do business on Sabbath but Islam allows business in timings other than congregational prayer on the new Sabbath of Friday. We should overcome our mutual xenophobia and try to resist hellenistic cultural pseudo-Zionism (resisted by Maccabees as well) and hyper-sexualization of Holy Land the birthplace of our mutually revered Son of Mary, may shalom be upon both.
