Some great thoughts. Needs (most of them creaturely), Narrative (beginning, middle, hopeful end worth the struggle), and Participation (meeting needs and interfacing with others in ways that bring greater meaning, spiritual significance, enjoyment). Faith to perceive and trust the ways of Jesus in a complex world, hope that the end is always better than the beginning because Father God has his eyes upon us, and Love as the Holy Spirit brings us and all things into unity around the Son who is near to the least of us.
I do believe in a converging structure of meaning that essentially is the form of information itself. Logos, basically. So I really treasure patterns. And as our tech is allowed to become more convergent, conversational, universal... It will have to climb this ladder of meaning. I don't believe a tower of Babel is at the end this time. I believe that at the core of meaning, authority, and automation we will find some rough truths about final judgement and Jacobs ladder.
