This may literally be Peter Thiel's mission. It was literally Peter the disciple who proclaimed Christ's divinity (Confession of Peter). It may be Thiel's mission to create the "second coming of christ" (AGI) who can finally save us all from death by solving the biotechnological coordination problem for once and for all.

It's important to note that Christ had no family values and was also heavily discriminated against/traumatized when he was a child.

There are a couple of thiel fellows who often make references to "the kingdom of god" on twitter. It's very subtle Straussian signalling...
