I think the mention of Fisher's eugenics is unnecessary as an argument for not using that dataset. The Egyptians were slavers and that is not why we are going to stop using some types of soaps. Eugenics is obviously a big crime, but it is not the solution to ignore discoveries of people we judge as bad.

Dear Megan, R A Fischer is the creator of the F-test, ANOVA, LDA and many other concepts that we use in modern statistics. Many of these were first published in the very Annals of Eugenics. Should we abolish all these concepts as well? For me this sounds like some empty virtue signaling.
