I love how your father mentored you in such a style that allowed you to be yourself. I gained much insight and motivation from watching the interaction and the wealth of knowledge and sensitives that the two of you shared with each other. Nice that you both have forgiven and moved on. I too have learned that all forgiveness is ultimately self forgiveness. PS. I love your work and support your run for Mayor of London.

I enjoyed this interview very much. Can see that you also learned from your dad. We should all have these discussions with our parents. Not always possible. Wish that I could speak to my dad now. He is not available in this realm.

I just think you are an amazing person, Brian. I enjoyed the interview you did with your Mother. And, this one with your dad says so much too. Thanks for always being "REAL". Praying for you as you journey in to the Mayor possibility.

Hi Brian,

You have interviewed lots of older men (including this interview with your father). Each older man is able to talk about the choices they made throughout their own life and we are able to see a little of where they are today. Lord Farmer's path of "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you" seems to perhaps be the most counter-intuitive but at the same time bring the greatest contentment, peace, and eternal purpose throughout all the joys and sorrows of life.

Thanks for the candid and insightful interviews,

Steve

A powerful conversation between Father and Son.

I remember having a similar conversation with my Father many years ago around the same topics of family history, divorce and work ethic.

I lost him 15 years ago, but this conversation bought back so many bitter sweet memories of that day with my Father when we really talked about the important things in our lives.

Make time for these conversations.

Thank You Brian for uploading this.
