It looks awkward to on the aircraft...and as a stand-alone logo: is that just the head and beak represented? or tis it suggestive of he whole bird behind the wings? It looks like just part of the head and beak, with the wings unnaturally FORWARD of the head!
If its the tail , which would make the placement of the wings make sense, then its worse!

I can see the thinking behind the logo and I like the tail graphics, but I would have thought that the key requirement for the logo would be for it to fit the format of the aircraft, after all, that's where the brand is presented to the majority of the airlines paying audience. The logo looks awkward and uncomfortable in its surroundings, and certainly, not at one with the aircraft!
