battleborn has been out for a while now. I have a amd R9 390, amd FX-6300 overclocked to 4.0ghz, 16gbs ddr3 ram, GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard, and a rosewill hive-750 psu. Max settings: 25-40fps, lowest settings: 30-45. what the heck

Are your drivers up to date? On what resolution are you playing?

Noah Eliason • 7 years ago

yes and 1080p

Matthew • 7 years ago

Do any of your components appear to be maxing out?

Noah Eliason • 7 years ago

no especially not on battleborn. my CPU and GPU are still definitely being used though so i know its not trying to do anything weird by like not using the GPU at all

Matthew • 7 years ago

Hmm, that seems strange. Are you getting decent performance in other modern games?

Noah Eliason • 7 years ago

overwatch runs at 60 so does battlefield 4, csgo, titanfall, and black ops 3. All of my older games run great too but just cause 3, wolfenstien the new order, and borderlands the pre-sequal are having fps issues similar to battleborn.

Matthew • 7 years ago

If those games use any software in common that could be causing an issue. It's strange, it is likely some sort of optimization problem I would think.

Noah Eliason • 7 years ago

must be. I just updated my drivers to 16.10.1

Matthew • 7 years ago

Hopefully that helps!

Noah Eliason • 7 years ago

it didn't its probably the game itself

Matthew • 7 years ago

Most likely, yeah.

Playable = passable (for most people), but definitely not ideal. That's still better than console framerates in many cases.
