One thing I noticed when I got my MSI brand AM4 compatible mobo is that the mounting points were so oddly spaced that I had no choice but to mount my Hyper 212 Evo in such a way that the airflow blows from the bottom of my case to the top. Handily enough, my case had been equipped with space for two fans at the top to displace that air. Are there any coolers that look like the Hyper 212 Evo (tower coolers), but would mount with a front to back airflow on AM4 mobos?

There are plenty of AM4-compatible air-based CPU Cooler options, especially if you include options that offer separate AM4 brackets. But as for which ones can be specifically mounted for backward exhaust on the particular MSI motherboard that you have, I would recommend looking up videos of installations for candidate models on your exact model of motherboard (or, if none can be found, then on similar AM4 boards).
