ANNCANNAMED.COM has extremely potent products and good prices too. Recommend this firm to anyone looking at Cannabis for help.

I've just bought UK Cheese from them. The salesperson was nice and the order process is simple. Many thanks to their staff for their stealth packaging

Raul Tsi • 6 years ago

not too shabby, I've had 16 of those and missed a few by >< that much.

must say I'm surprised at the non-listing of Thai variants

Daniel • 6 years ago

Raul Tsi, Thai is a parent of Chocolope; but yes overall not much love for Thai strains on this list. Back in the 80's Thai stick was some of the best that could be found, along with Acapulco Gold.

Grape Skate • 4 years ago

Thai back in the day yes

Raul Tsi • 6 years ago

Daniel, Chocolope is one of the 16 I've had and I really liked it a lot. It was the product of a dispensary that was helping out my local shop while they got their grow facility up and running. I do hope that we get some again.

I had chocolate thai back in the '80s and it was the second best weed I've ever had behind only purple Hawaiian. I was stoked when I found out that chocolate thai was a parent of Chocolope. Sad to say but I've never had Acapulco Gold.

Smoked since the 70's, computer geek since the 80's, I have smoked and listed over 300 strains in my own database. I'm always hunting for exotics and Jack Herer is my #1 favourite!

excellent overview of the current cannabis world. good job

Joseph Hart • 5 years ago

What!? No BC God Bud? This strain has been ignored for quite awhile, and BC Seed Bank is the main reason. BUT I have kept this incredible strain going since 2010 and it is still my favorite for myriad reasons. Taste, Terps, powerful buzz and incredible pain relief are a few of those reasons.

There's my bucket list.

Grass Chief • 6 years ago

From the heaviest indicas through perfectly-balanced hybrids to the brightest sativas, all manner of strain types, effects, aromas, flavors and origins are described here. Like it very much. Really wish to try all these cannabis strains.

Daniel • 6 years ago

Nice list. A few I'd take off like headband, that strain always gives me a headache. Also some others I'd add like Candyland and Purple Hindu Kush (I know they included Hindu Kush, but PHK is totally different). I've tried about 70 percent of the strains listed and will add it to my bucketlist to try the ones I haven't.

Joseph Muhammad • 6 years ago

Lol, another silly Leafly list. Credit me for 37 of the strains but I add Peach, Primus, and UW Purple (especially UW Purple!, great against asthma and very nice stone) to the list of must tries. I saw three high CBDs on the list (Harlequin, AC/DC, Sour Tsunami), awesome, especially Harlequin. I would remove Headband from the list unless you are fond of headaches or of someone pressing a weight on your forehead and nose bridge.

Very nice images; they looks very similar to the ones Ive been working on in the past months.

What is Leafly trying to "sell" you? The cannabis they don't produce from the shops they don't own? This is an OPINION piece. Its purpose is to get people excited about trying a variety of cannabis strains. To make some suggestions based on the writers' own experiences. Roll one up and relax a bit.

I kinda laughed at this one. We were smoking Acapulco Gold back in the 70s. You could get an ounce back then for about $20. They went by fingers then - 4 to 5 finger bag was $20 to $40 depending on what you got.

notmike64 • 5 years ago

ten dollars for 3 grams

B. Alvn • 5 years ago

and the price has already fallen to that level or below in outdoor growing areas such as southern oregon. in places where it is legal, it will get much cheaper...one full grown female plant, grown uninhibited under the sun (like i'm sure they are in Mexico) can produce 5 pounds...2268 grams! and it cost almost nothing to grow. without the risk of going to prison, what is to stop everyone and their brother from growing a few massive trees in their backyard, and serious growers from growing fields of huge plants from clones of the best varieties? nothing, that's what. it will become nearly free.

GeneCali • 3 years ago

Many are still waiting for that Inexpensive Herb. Corporate Cannabis has driven many back to the street dealers.

Michael Miller • 6 years ago

No shit, I remember we never bought small stuff by weight. We always bought by the finger, An ounce was usually 3 fingers and would run you $10, good gold ran around $40 a lid . I lived in Arizona and real good mexi was was tough to find, as all the good stuff went back east demanding big bucks. There was a lot of cheap reggie not bad at all, the real good red hair, gold, and some crazy oaxacan spears began showing up around 72 thru early 80 . If I remember lol, It was a magical time.

nixnoutz • 6 years ago

Musta been magical times. Bravo.

What if the source was a Mexican landrace that was then created in AC?

I smoke for medicinal reasons not getting high ones. It would be nice to have included in this list how these strains help with pain, anxiety, depression, etc. I have Fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, seizure disorder, PTSD, anxiety and depression. Maybe someone here could help me with picking a few that would help. I don't want to be a zombie during the day and I need help with sleeping at night. I really would like to eventually get away from pills and just use MM to deal with my medical issues. Any help would be awesome. I do have my medical card so getting what I need is not a problem as far as that goes but finances are a bit of a problem for me.

I had fibromyalgia for 12 years. I finally cured myself of it. I tried the doctor way at first and I only got worse with all the pain killers and muscle relaxers. I started looking into homeopathy and herbs. Cannabis was my herb of choice for pain and insomnia. If you want to use Cannabis in this way and not get high, try CBD oil. Apparently CBDs make you pain free without the Euphoric high. I also made cannabutter with coconut oil to ingest the cannabis. I do not like to smoke. Through experimentation I figured out I can eat a small amount of cannabis that would take away the pain, but not make me high. It takes a while to get it right, but it can be done. My mom takes a 1/4 teaspoon to help with her back pain 1 or twice a day. This is a good amount for her. It helps with the pain and she does not get high. I bought Dr. Saint Aman's book: Fibromyalgia, What Your Doctor Won't Tell You. He said to change my diet and restrict carbohydrates and all wheat products to stop the irritable bowl syndrome...it worked. No longer was I constipated, sick to my stomach, doubled over in stomach pain after eating. No more gas, no more bloating after I eat. I slept better too. To this day I try to allow very little carbs into my diet. He said to stop all pain killers and muscle relaxers, all meds. He said to exercise when I felt I could. I always had extra cannabis before working out. I started out walking. As I felt better and better I increased my water intake and exercise. I felt good enough to bike miles a day and swim in the summer, (I wore a full wet suit to keep me warm). In the winter I snow shoe. I did 'over do it' almost every time. At first, I would be down and out for a few hours after exercise. I was in so much pain, I would have even more edible cannabis. This would last for a few hours each time. I noticed as I got better, I would recover faster in less time. I was surprised to notice one day I was on the couch recovering for about 1 hour. (After starting out, it took ½ day, then a few hours, then down to 1 hour and eventually no recovery time necessary.)

I would just lay on the couch in pain and fall asleep. When I woke up, no more intense pain, thanks to the cannabis. He said if I do this stuff he recommends, I would have more good days than bad...I did start to have more good days than bad. I have been Fibro free for 4 years now. I did do some research on my own that led me to a homeopathic remedy called "Ledum x30". It is used for tick bites. Tick bites are bacteria. The bacteria is supposedly what gives us Fibro. Ledum attacks bacteria and forces it out of your body. Ledum is given to dogs for tick bites. I never got bitten by a tick. I was infected by a patient with FibroFever. I remember those fevers. I went from medium size fevers to low fevers I could live with. I am so happy I do not suffer with those nasty fevers, almost daily at times. I worked in the medical field for 20 + years. I had to quit working because of Fibro. My husband was my care taker. He grew indoor cannabis for me. One must grow the cannabis as it can be very costly. We bought a grow book and dvd. Learned all we needed to know. I bought medical marajuana seeds from Amsterdam. I also bought a High Times Cannabis Recipe Book for ingesting cannabis. Any way, I recommend Dr. Saint Aman’s book. I think I read that he is an MD who contracted Fibromyalgia. Between his book and my research, I was able to cure myself of Fibro. As far as the conventional medicine, (which I was a part of), I stay clear of doctors. It is my experience doctors do not want to learn anything from a pion patient who thinks she has all the answers. The medical community was making me worse with all their drugs full of dangerous side effects. I did what the doctors recommended for 1 1/2 years. When I stopped their drugs, I felt better and I lost weight. Their drugs made me gain weight. I got up to 190 lbs. from 120 lbs. normal. At that point, that is when I decided to take my health care into my own hands. Had I not done this, I’d still be sick with Fibro and very MISERABLE. I hope and pray you can beat the Fibro. May our Heavenly Father God bless you with all that you need to cure the Fibro yourself. If I can do it, anyone can do it. If I can answer any questions, please feel free to contact me by replying to this comment or email me. I am Avene Ligia. My email is Avene@protonmail.ch. Best wishes. Below are 2 links for Fibro and Lyme's disease from a tick bite. I do not know if they are one in the same or similar in symptoms. I originally got all my online info from Canada as Canada has had an epidemic of Lyme's disease from ticks.

Common Misdiagnoses | CanLyme – Canadian Lyme Disease ...

So if imbalances in the HPA axis can lead to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, depression, insomnia and generalized pain, all of which is related to fibromyalgia, then it seems there is a strong link from Lyme disease complex and its coinfections to FMS.
