Congratulations on getting into Go. I've been thinking that a nice muxer similar to Nancy's would be a pretty cool next step. So far, httprouter is my favorite.

Agreed but from one conversation I've had there would be a lot of interface passed around which turns it into dynamic language feature which is not favoured by many in Go :(

One of the first things I did when new to go is sprinkle interface{] everywhere. If you check out the httprouter source: https://github.com/juliensc... you'll see that they didn't need to do so. It's just a trie that calls Handle for the matched route.
