There you have it again, Jamaica! The unrivalled, yes U-N-R-I-V-A-L-L-E-D, judicial independence of the Privy Council. Not a trace of fear of the powers that be in Trinidad and Tobago. No wonder the people of T&T are clinging to it as if for dear life! The Privy Council puts even the Supreme Court of the world's No 1 superpower, ie the USA, to unmitigated shame.

But it will work, barushka, if you have a judiciary which lacks intestinal fortitude or if members of the judiciary secretly party with the affluent attorneys who represent the government in court.
