Up until a few months back 7 out of the top 10 spammers in the world on SPAMHAUS's top 10 list were all from the US, it's down to 6 now.

According to this list published in early 2017, you can see the US is just short of the total of it's nearest 3 competitors.

The Top 10 List (Sourced from Kaspersky Lab)

United States- 15.2%
Russia- 6.2%
Vietnam- 6.1%
China- 6.1%
Germany- 4.2%
Ukraine – 4%
France- 3.2%
India- 3%
Argentina- 2.9%
Brazil- 2.9%

So maybe instead of telling everyone else what to do all the time, the US should STFU and start cleaning up it's own backyard.

Again this is a matter of ICANN taking everyone's money but not regulating dodgy registrars. who allow cyber criminals to sign up with fake details and yahoo email addresses. ICANN has been the problem from the start.
