Much information is coming out now on how Peter Daszak of Ecohealth pressed 27 scientists to encourage resumption of NIH funding...a colossal mistake, given increasing evidence that the virus DID escape from the Wuhan lab, and thus US financing of GoF research there was a very bad move. Why did Fauci change his mind? He came out against wet markets, but not GoF research at a notoriously insecure laboratory in a densely populated city, where US and Chinese researchers had previously boasted of their adventures collecting bats to take to Wuhan.
The best work on the lab escape hypothesis is by Alina Chan. https://www.bostonmagazine....

Dr Tan’s paper regarding COVID-19 virus development clearly shows the weaponization of corona virus by the Chinese military at their P4 lab also in Wuhan. Transparency is not what the military is interested in. Would an International Treaty help? No unless strictly enforced, certainly not by WHO!
