We had a teaching of Asher Intrater from Israel last Sunday in our ICF Celebrations round Munich.
He told us that we got two eyes and two ears because we should see goods plan out of two perspectives: The one where God takes care for us personally and the ohter one where God takes care of his plans regarding redemption of the whole world - men and creation.
As a messianic Jew he said, that the non-jewish Christians are mostly interested in how far God is caring for them personally. Messianic Jews mostly are interested in the big plan God has with this world.
I think he is right. We westerly Christians need more awarness for what God is doing in his Masterplan with this world - we often look too much on our individual wellfare and prosperity. On the other side messianic Jews often overrate the Masterplan and underrate the personal care of God for their individual life.
I am so thankful for coming more into balance between these two perspectives. And I think your blog aims in the same direction - it's not just about me an my ideas or my carefully considered suggestions of what God can or should do. But at the same time I can be sure and safe that he is taking care of my alldays demands (1. Peter 5: 7).
So I want to thank you a lot for this helpful and visionary blog to the story of Habakkuk - which could be mine or yours as well. Blessings and Hugs, Stefan
Dear Brother Stefan, thank you with my huge heart of gratitude that you put into words fresh revelation that Samuel's message opened up for you. It bears witness to my spirit. It is a help in witnessing to Jews, and it is especially helpful to me as an intercessor.
Praise the Lord for the brethren and altruism in the Body of Christ to spur one another on in our maturing in Him. We are altogether the Bride, becoming prepared for Her Bridegroom King. Feasting on the good Word of God, we help each other's spiritual eyes to open more to the Father's heart and His vision for us now. He desires our willingness not to get stuck in strategies that worked in the past or understanding the times and seasons through human logic and longing. He calls us to work together in the unity of His Spirit with all the changing circumstances in the world, in the nations, in the culture and spheres of influence around us, both individually and corporately! As we remain teachable and line up all revelation coming out of the Body of Christ with the plumbline of His Word, He'll lay the lay lines to Jerusalem and join our hearts together as His Bride.
Glory!
THank you for your words, thought provoking and connected to Scripture!
