The government needs to mandate that this info should be deleted within a timeframe and ideally it should be stored offline as well. It's ridiculous that it's so hard to try and stop collection like this and people will think you're crazy for asking.

Wonder if anyone scans the drivers license and asks, how come these identical triplets all have totally different dates of birth?
They could be born either side of midnight.
They need to pay for all licenses to be replaced plus a big enough fine to make them change their behaviour. Why do they need to record and keep this info? Why doesn't it get deleted automatically after say 7-30 days? It's honestly ridiculous to just store this data online. At a minimum it should be stored offline as well.
