Koons has been selling air, all along. Air inside of shinny containers. A collector should know that by now. What happens to value when balloon deflates?.

I like your comment. To it I would add, greed has no vision, nor do most collectors.

A sign of the times, highlighting the decline of Western Civilization ! - very apt.

The most overrated artist of the 20th an 21st Centuries. The emperor has no.... Anyone stupid enough to pay that kind of dosh for that kind of tosh....

Keep inflating the price of junk art of the sort Koons 'produces'(?) and what can one expect but this sort of sham played out in the era of Trump. Who then is to blame, the guller or the gullible? Seems to me it takes two to tango.

Jeff Koons is a glorified Franklin Mint selling trinkets ripped off from current Pop Culture. What's next?...the Princess Diana doll...or a remake of a 57' Chevy...or Souvenir Plate of Trump's Inauguration?

Ok, so this is a good sign if the collectors are finally figuring out that the Art World is a giant unregulated Ponzi scheme, but when will all artists figure it out too and stop contributing to it?
