Whatever the Red Army brought Poland, it certainly wasn't "liberation.' Ironically the only Poles liberated by the Red Army were the few Jews who survived the camps or were hidden by the few Catholics who risked their lives to do so (even if it was for money or the promise of money). Afterward it was a continence of HELL for all Poles, Jewish or Christian.

USSR first divided those countries between Nazis and themselves and then few years later said the heck with the Nazis, we will keep those territories for ourselves. However, while doing all that they did liberate Jews held in nazi concentration camps.

Totally agree, the allies only invade Normandy, but the Russians push the Nazis back from Russia soil, to the German Nazi nation, fighting one to one and causing serious debacle in the Nazi army, ending up with the total rendition of the evil Nazis.
