It is a whole racket obtaining a Spanish passport. The Jewish communities are few in the north and south. Intermarriage is up to 70%. The so called day school has children from mixed marriages so one has to be very careful about who s/he wishes to get into a serious relationship with. Kashrut is a total joke as most of the products are imported from France and Israel. The so called kosher bakery in Madrid is a total joke. The Chief Rabbinate of Madrid is ONE PERSON and the products ARE NOT RELIABLE.

the nationality had problems from the start .. the FCJE which is not by any means a federation & has mismanaged the program from the start.. then the recent change of government.. the head of spain, pedro sanchez is from the socialist party - psoe.. like the US democratic party with socialist who dislike Jews.. the psoe has buried the program in silence & bureaucracy .. it is a screwed up program..
