Lots of surveys & numbers to distract us from what? How about put Bibi back & call it a day?

Polls are often wrong.... Look for a Trump/Clinton-like surprise, one way or the other....

Yes, but in Israel it is more complicated - closer to British system than to the American.

Yeah, results very likely identical. That is why only realistic solution is to change the constitution, and make possible direct election of the PM by the people. Bibi would win - that is why the leftists don't want that. They hope to down him through the courts, or at least through lashon hara (false accusations).

I have 2 considerations that would cause me to vote for Netanyahu if I was an Israeli.

1) I see how his opposition has manipulated the situation underhandedly with these phony & absurd accusations against Bibi.
Also the police black mailing witnesses into false statements.
& Ganz's initial desire, now on the back burner,of bringing the anti Israel Arab parties into the political inner circles.
I would never vote for liars & cheats who have no integrity.
Think, would anyone give the keys to their house to untrustworthy individuals?
2) PM Netanyahu has a special relationship, perhaps a one of a kind, relationship with the most powerful man in the world today,
President Donald Trump.
This favorable relationship for Israel may not be able to be duplicated by any other Israeli politician
