As a young boy, I lived in Jerusalem. Just at the outskirt of the city was an Arab village where I witnessed two brothers fighting from a distance. I was left in shock by what I saw next, one brother throwing a makeshift spear into his brothers chest. Miraculously, the gathering crowed helped the injured man onto a nearby pickup, all the while he was on his feet walking and holding the spear. Apparently, the spear had penetrated right through him. I never found out if he survived? But, to my point,
if Arabs can, literally, kill their own brothers, they certainly can spill the blood of their own. Needless to say, that image of savagery never left me. Bloodletting is like a right of passage or a sport to Arab men. Sadly, Islam, is but a culture of violence and intolerance stuck in the Middle-Ages.
