Yea I would not vote on anything the dems are putting forth right now, they are pushing a coup in our country they can not be trusted.....

I see no two state solution. Look at Gaza. It was given to them and now its a terrorist hell hole demanding the complete destruction of Israel. The Arabs have vast territories compared to Israel, yet they are not satisfied. Land for peace will never work.

It is a twin with impeachment to get at President Donald Trump. It will get the President signature "when hell freezes over."

Here we go again with these "progressive" delusions of a "two-state" nightmare.

Kevin Donohue • 4 years ago

The resolution says no unilateral annexation of territory by Israel and no unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state without a peace treaty. This article is extremely misleading, intending to incite anti-Democrat resentment over nothing.

Crazy Liberals don't realize, without a formal agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority for peaceful disarmament of the Al Aqsa Brigade, the PLO sponsors, Hamas, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, there is no guarantee of protection from insurgents and terrorists using the boundaries of the West Bank to attack Israel. The Tel Aviv - Yaffo Metro Area is particiularly vulnerable, and don't forget Ben Gurion International Airport.

Lies & Deception are a chronic part of ISLAM:
===================================

It is factual, muslims have their six lies that are tenets of islam, it is perfectly reasonably not to trust muslims based on the fact that lying is categorized for muslim's convenience:

• Taqiyya (Shia) or Muda'rat (Sunni): tactical deceit for the purposes of spreading Islam.

• Kitman: deceit by omission.

• Tawriya: deceit by ambiguity.

• Taysir: deceit through facilitation (not having to observe all the tenets of Sharia).

• Darura: deceit through necessity (to engage in something "Haram" or forbidden).

• Muruna: the temporary suspension of Sharia in order that Muslim immigrants appear "moderate".

And, worst of all...

From the Qur'an:

Qur'an 3:54—And they (the unbelievers) planned to deceive, and Allah planned to deceive (the unbelievers), and Allah is the best of deceivers.

Qur'an 7:99—Are they then safe from Allah's deception? No one feels safe from Allah's deception except those that shall perish.

Qur'an 8:30—And (remember) when the unbelievers plotted deception against you (O Muhammad), to imprison you, or kill you, or expel you. They plotted deception, but Allah also plotted deception; and Allah is the best of deceivers.

"Allah is the BEST OF DECEIVERS" - {Most Unholy Qur'an, Suras 3.54 AND 8.30}, whose FALSE PROPHET: Maha-MAD was the world's FIRST and WORST Terrorist !!!

I agree with Caesar-- Put a horse in a seat in the House and you will have more intelligence than these pathetic, leftist democrats, which includes so many weak, self-hating Jews. In fact, make it a dead horse, because that's what they're trying to revive in their pitiful attempt to reintroduce this 30 year old piece of worthless legislation in the form of a resolution which completely ignores reality. And it's all in attempt to interfere in Israeli politics and influence the next election. Annexation of the territories is WAY overdue and with Trump's approval, now is the time to act.

“No” to two states. Israel that matter no to FakeStinians

Anton Klotz • 4 years ago

What prospect for a "settlement" or a "two-state" solution, when th Arabs refuse to come to the table, fund terrorists, and deny the right of a Jewish state to exist?

Menachem • 4 years ago

AIPAC doesn’t have a stance in the issue? How many times have the “Palestinians” been offered their own state and each time they said NO. If it’s not even the desired solution of the “Palestinians” how come it’s the desired solution of the Democrats, the French, the Paraguayans, the Morrocans, or the Morons for that matter. And that ids precisely what AIPAC should be saying as well, not just me.

Iris Sapovits • 4 years ago

First and foremost, the US House cannot vote on how another country can be ruled or formed, unless they are a colony of the US. We can broker peace agreements and help them but we cannot force the issue. Mind our own business, that's how we helped to screw up the middle east to begin with by butting in.
If the Palestinians want peace and a state they will have to deal with Israel, and Israel alone.

cbusa • 4 years ago

What would be FAR more helpful towards achieving peace is a unified U.S. posture condemning Palestinian rejectionism and their efforts to rewrite history. By not backing the President, Democrats are handing the Palestinians a golden wedge to divide a once unified America, allowing them to continue pursuing an anti-peace path of lawfare, lies, and demonization. Put pressure where it belongs - on the Arabs!

Frank • 4 years ago

The mind boggles. It is difficult to understand how members of a government body such as the House of Representatives can be so clueless and ignorant of historical facts. Do they not realise that there is no two state solution because the leadership of the Palestinian Arabs do not want it nor did they ever want it, else they could have had a state of their own on at least five previous occasions going back to the Peel's Commission of 1937? In fact in July 1922, the British cut off, without authorisation, 77% of mandated Palestine (from which they had agreed to facilitate the re-creation of a Jewish homeland ) and awarded it to Emir Abdullah to create the Emirate of Transjordan (later, Jordan). It can justifiably be argued that that should have been the Palestinian Arab state. Of the 23% remaining, Israel was even willing to accept another division creating 2states living side by side. The Arabs refused that as they have done ever since. What they want is one state, another Arab state, replacing Israel. And these members of Congress not only vote but they walk among us!!!

c0mm0ncenz • 4 years ago

This is why we should not sign a pact with the US for mutual support. Israel will get the shaft every time. Hopefully this will fail, as it goes against all the years of the US stating borders are an issue for the Israelis and the Palestinians to agree to. If the Pals won't meet, it goes against all common sense and morals to dictate to Israel we should give them precious land. We cannot and hopefully will not give this land. I live near the Jordan valley and know how critical this strip is for Israel. Besides that, no one ever asks the Arabs if they'd rather be in Israel or the PA. Almost half surveyed state they want Israel and many are afraid to answer honestly so they say they're undecided. The US congress has no right, no legal authority to go against the UN past rulings to tell Israel to give up land. Hopefully the Congress realizes this and it will fail, and Trump will veto regardless. This is a bad move for the US in many ways. And in addition, what this is doing is rewarding terrorists for their terror. The bully gets his way again. This will bring more terror and then the same democrate idiots will tell Israel to pull back even more. This is stealth jihad and these dems are jihadist enablers. Vote them out.

jefz • 4 years ago

Will we ever learn to mind our own business? The constant interference with other countries/people with whatever their gripe is not our problem to solve. Same applies to our funds which should never be used to supplement people/ countries simply because we believe differently. Best example is Ukraine, a sloppy fraudulent country which we support at the expense of Russia which only results in more strife.None of our business, certainly not when so much fraud is involved which is always the case..

ISRAEL BEWARE!!! The Dems couldn't get POTUS Trump out of the WH, now out of their frustration, they are deliberately, vehemently going all out against ISRAEL, with the Palestinian land issue. These are all their "DRAMAS" the Dems are all acting out, to either get at POTUS TRUMP OR BRING TROUBLE TO ISRAEL. The dirty tricks of the dirty Dems . SHALOM ISRAEL, THE GOD OF ISRAEL SHALL PREVAIL AGAINST ALL ISRAEL'S ENEMIES, ANTYIME, EVERYTIME, ANYWHERE!!!

Abraham • 4 years ago

A very dangerous move by Congress in an attempt to undermine president Trump policy on the Middle East. The vast majority of Palestinians do not want an independent state as recent polls show. Palestinians are not interested in a government run by crooks where corruption is rampant and civil rights are ignored. Palestinians want jobs, a good education and be able to provide for their families. The Two State policy is a failure it has always has been. Shame on Congress, and those who introduced the bill, the JDCA, and the progressive left within our community who believes that a Two State will bring peace and harmony. Shame on AIPAC for not making a statement against this resolution.

Lomfidi • 4 years ago

Great idea.....One Gaza in the south isn't enough. Create another one in the east, 3 miles away from my parents' home. The fact-free , propaganda fed Democrats are at it again, dreaming up a Palestinian state where no interest for anything but jew murder and a parasitic existence exists.
Seriously, First I would suggest that Palestinian children should get a different indoctrination to the Marxist , antisemitic mumbo jumbo they get from the UNRWA. That would be the first step towards real peace. Stop treating a genocidal terrorist regime like an innocent 3 year old child . Hold them responsible for the terror and lies they spew . They need to show the world that they deserve to be treated like adults. Jewish lives do matter, you know. Virtue signalling will be the end of democracy if we're not careful .

c0mm0ncenz • 4 years ago

Good comment. It amazes me that the world thinks it somehow okay that they keep pouring money into what you aptly call a "parasitic existence". What happened to the adage the Peace Corps went by, that instead of giving fish to people, we should teach the people to fish. And Gaza is led by a terrorist group besides. Where's the morality in today's world?

Has everyone forgotten that it was the Lord God Of Israel who set the borders of the land and He warns those who divide the land.
I'm afraid that if the US divided the land more, their own land will be divided.

Just one question..what the heck is going on that we read this "Palestinian state up for vote in US House resolution` Do both sides think that this is how they get to be acknowledged world wide? The other part is what the heck is going on, are they thinking better be nice to both sides? If that is the feeling then take their "love for Israel and stuff it since it will only cause MORE trouble"

TruthBeRising • 4 years ago

No surprise there. Like other leftist globalists worldwide, the democrats hate Anerica and Israel because they want the sovereignty of all nations to be negated through open borders and economic impoverishment so they can become swallowed up by their New (Nazi) World Order. They are demonic to the core.

jongnagy • 4 years ago

The Democrats harbor anti-Semites like Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and-their many anti--Semitic Democrat supporters.

Only foolish American Jews would vote for any of them.

With Jew's, like this, why do we need Jew's in Congress? Fundamentalist Xtians are not afraid of Israel annexing Judea and Samaria. A Jew who votes Socialist Democrat, is a Jew, not interested in Israel's survival.

"The United States has long sought a just and
stable future for Palestinians, ...and moves toward unilateral annexation in the Palestinian territory." i.e. replace Israel with "Palestine." (Why doesn't Jordan give up some land?) The fact the Palestinian Arabs reject peace, (only want it on their terms) is a good thing. A phony peace would be disastrous for Israel. Bottom line, there is no such thing as a stable just future for them on their current trajectory.

c0mm0ncenz • 4 years ago

Jordan IS Palestine. That is where many "palestinians " live. But the king fears them and won't make any more palestinian Arabs Jordanian citizens, as they are supposed to do. Where is the outcry from the UN? Utter silence, because so many no longer care about the rule of law and the laws that have been on the books for almost a century. The UN gave the Jews the right to the Jordan Valley decades ago. Now some arrogant Americans want to ignore rulings that are part of the UN charter? Vote these arrogant ignoramuses out --- please.

Carol M. • 4 years ago

You're so right! There is a saying that those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it. I might add that we live in a time "where truth is thrown to the ground." Stand up for truth no matter what the cost.

Dajjal • 4 years ago

Just future for them: filled graves.

I believe that to the winners the spoils.
Ask Russia to get out of Crimea?
Ask Turkey to get out of Cyprus?
Where is the logic?
In 1948 when Jordan annexed half of Jerusalem, excluding the Jews from their sacred Wall, where were these folks that claim that Israel should give up the territories they fought to survive and won in several wars?
What business does our Congress have in the internal affairs of Israel?
Palestinians do not want to negotiate! And the US cannot dictate terms!
How can you negotiate with Palestinians where the only solution they have is death to all the Jews?
Has no one learned anything from the Israelis giving up Gaza for peace? What did it gain them? other than an enemy that taunts them and attack them constantly?
Did anyone in the world even react when the Palestinians burnt and destroyed all the Synagogues left behind in Gaza?
Did the world take notice than when Israel won the 6 days war in 1967, that instead of destroying the Mosque of the Dome, they allowed the Jordanian Mufti to oversee it, in detriment of its own citizens not being allowed to visit the site of the first and second temples? Had that been a synagogue, Palestinians would have destroyed without thought! And the world would have kept quiet!
People, stop being naïve and fooling yourselves, as much as I like to believe that one day Palestinians will accept that Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish State, I don't believe that I'll live long enough to see it!

Why doesn‘t the ZOA protest the attempts of the Administration to support Netanyahu, by legalizing settlement activities, possible annexation of West Bank Area etc, but considers a resolution following decades long US foreign policy principles, intervention in Israeli political situation?

bill53 • 4 years ago

“The United States has long sought a just and stable future for Palestinians, and an end to the occupation, including opposing settlement activity and moves toward unilateral annexation in
Palestinian territory.”

1. There is NO occupation.

2. There is NO such thing as Palestine or Palestinians.

3. How can something be annexed that doesn't exist in the first place.

4. Since ALL of Samaria and Judea are Israeli territory including the West Bank. There is nothing to be annexed.

5. There are arabs SQUATTING on Israeli territory, I guess that can be considered occupation.

6. I am appalled by my country today. Both for this resolution and the Coup d'état against the President.

Why should Israel have to provide land for this filth? They have no right and no business being on Jewish soil.

Palestinians do not want a two-state solution:

The Palestinians have been offered their own state — with its capital in Jerusalem and every Israeli settlement in the new Palestine uprooted — only to be rudely rejected because they will not recognize or agree to live next to a Jewish state. Their answer to a two-state solution is Jihad as evidenced by the PA joining Hamas whose charter calls for the destruction of Israel.

This is not ancient history. This is 2000, 2001 and 2008 — three y peace offers every one rejected.
The fundamental reality remains: This generation of Palestinian leadership — from Yasser Arafat to Mahmoud Abbas — has never and will never sign its name to a final peace settlement dividing the land with a Jewish state (if they did they would be killed immediately.) And without that, no Israeli government of any kind will agree to a Palestinian state.

Democrats need to clean up the war zone biological hazard they reign over AKA districts. The one thing that would turn me against President Trump is if he would sign a trash bill like that! Israel needs to get more land back not just Judea and Samaria all of West bank and Gaza and more it's there land leave them alone. God bless Israel and all who blesses Israel & Curse all who curse Israel.

gerald m. serlin • 4 years ago

As a two-state solution is an impossibility, this so-called Jewish organization, the JDCA should keep its opinions to itself, unless a solution of the problem is found. So far, the so-called Palestinians have offered nothing but war. Actually, war is a solution, if fought to the end, with a treaty, a la WW2. Short of that, there seems to be no solution.
