I see no issue with the Palestinian Authority (Areas A & B, and Gaza, as per Oslo Accord, 1993) either:
1- Becoming a real state, after it has negotiated a peace agreement with the Jewish state of Israel, or
2- Remaining an authority (without Oslo benefits: fuel, electricity, etc.), if it refuses to negotiate for peace.

Any treaty / agreement signed by Muslims lasts ONLY as long as it is advantageous to them to keep. The moment it becomes advantageous for them to break it, they will.
