I don't know if it is lack of respect, I think that people do not read, re- read and have knowledge of our Constitution. I think our educational system throughout the country does not educate enough about our Bill of Rights and the history and reasons for the amendments.

Unfortunately we failed our Black brothers and sisters by not providing them with good educations which was the number one cause for their poverty. I hope that by now we have learned. I am now old and I have seen some remarkable developments in educating minority groups.

The Jewish people showed us that educating the young is the best way for them to escape poverty, and in my long life I have seen profound changes. When I was young I never experienced meeting a black person with a college education. In fact most didn't finish high school.
THAT HAS CHANGED< THANK GOD. WE are making progress. I am glad that you care. We must all work together, we who care, and make progress for all of our people.

The black population gets the same education that many others get, it is up to them to either learn or not, back in the 80s when I was college I had several black students in class with me, those were some very smart people, out of the 10 that were in class with me 8 of them went on to get under grad degrees and a few went on to get their PHds. Every one of them went into mechanical engineering electrical engineering or other areas and are making more than excellent income, so dont put out that crap that blacks do not get any kind of education, it is up to them to learn the materials and on one else.

Unfortunately that has not been the case as respected studies have shown. We are in the midst of changing that sorry state and can't come soon enough.

For a time I lived in a suburb of Miami and the black community lived on one side of the railroad tracks and whites on the other. Equality for all was not wanted or expected. I sure hope that has changed.

Well I know the b li ack guys I went to school with all made very good careers for themselves and many of them retired with tons of money, and several investments I still keep in touch with a few of them.
