Governor Newsome is a disgrace as a leader!!! His bigotry is disgustingly evident in this evil bill he signed and he is a perfect example of real systemic racism. As a black woman who loves the nation of Israel and all of my Jewish friends, I cannot believe this racist leader has the nerve to sign a bill like this. May God have mercy on your wretched soul.

mrtambourineman • 3 years ago

You are a wonderful blessed human being.

Colin • 3 years ago

I agree.

Edward B. Levy • 3 years ago

I agree with you LauReen except for one thing. NO MERCY ON HIS SOUL. Imagine, Jewish ethnic cleansing in the USA. OR the cleansing of ANY ethnic group in our dear Republic. Bless you LauReen

He is not alone. It is democrat party. From KKK to BLM, hatemongering plus obsession with skins and genitalia.

I'm not sure about the mercy part.

Bravo, ma'am. Deep respect!

BonniePrinceCharlie • 3 years ago

His wretched soul and that of other antisemites does not deserve God's mercy.

Two can play this game! Someone explain why no one has started an anti Palestinian school curriculum.
1. Palestinians invented 1964 by the KGB.
2. Zero contribution to the human race.
3. Olympic terrorism
4. Assassinating a Democrat who probably would have been President: Robert Kennedy.
5. Billionaire, cowardly dictators who encourage their people to blow themselves up & rob their people blind.
6. Gays & complainers thrown off roofs.
7. Women with less rights than dogs do in the U.S.!
There is your curriculum.

Cheryl Detar • 3 years ago

Or three. Why hasn't the been an anti newsome petitution?

sandraleesmith46 • 3 years ago

There have been several, including currently! Get signed on! He needs to be removed from office!

Maurice H • 3 years ago

Because California is too much Blue. The Assembly is run by Karen Bass and Mexicans. It is heavily Democratic. Republicans are a small minority.

Colin • 3 years ago

If someone can do something on those lines, why the delay?

max shane • 3 years ago

How many petition votes would be required to have Gov. Newsome recalled for bigotry?

bob • 3 years ago

Aggravating in he name of equal education. Obviously going to make it tougher on Jewish people. I don't know what is going on in this country, but it is dangerous. If it were a college one could please with alumni not to contribute , bu this is YOUR GOVERNMENT!!

steph • 3 years ago

You are correct. This "ethnic" studies program is being supported by taxpayers like myself. This does not bode well for Jews or for other minority groups in the state. One of the leaders of the BLM movement in Los Angeles, Melina Abdullah, is a professor of ethic critical studies at Cal State L.A. She was one of the leaders of the BLM march in Los Angeles, which on the first day it occurred took place in the Fairfax District, a heavily Jewish neighborhood, where what started out as a purported protest march turned into an orgy of looting and property destruction. She and other critical studies faculty need to be monitored very closely to see that they do not educate future generations according to an agenda that distorts history to their liking.

Thank you for your well-informed comment.

Iris Sapovits • 3 years ago

Once you leave CA, as any normal person should, VOTE RED. Don't take their disguesting politics with you.

Colin • 3 years ago

Sounds highly destructive - too much to be gnored.

Iris Sapovits • 3 years ago

And don't forget, he is the nephew of the hopefully late and great Nancy Pelosi

BonniePrinceCharlie • 3 years ago

Great? Never. Late? As soon as possible.

Jill Abbott • 3 years ago

What the hell do ANY kind of "studies" prepare young people for work in the real world? Zero. Zilch. Nada. Go ahead, brainwash more airheads into mindlessness in the name of "cool".

Uncle Dave • 3 years ago

And make sure that the kids, their parents and the taxpayers pay for the brain-washing... Ain't Communism / Marxism great?

BonniePrinceCharlie • 3 years ago

But not on my dime!!!!!

Dr. Philip J. Shapiro • 3 years ago

Maybe, just maybe, Jews in California will stop supporting the Democrats in their state and start voting and financially supporting the candidates who are friendly toward and accepting of Jewish interests. Democrat politicians have developed a pattern of campaigning for Jewish interests - and then turning against those interests once elected. This is no longer the Democrat Party of Hubert Humphrey.

garymrosen • 3 years ago

I voted Democrat most of my life but quit many years ago, in part because of the unmistakable rising tide of anti-Zionism and antisemitism in the party. Not the only reason but an important one. I cannot understand how Jews who truly support Israel can continue to vote for Democrats.

Iris Sapovits • 3 years ago

I did the same when BHO ran for president. Researching all I could, I knew what he was and left for good. Still voted for some democrats, but that is over. Will never VOTE any other way but RED

BonniePrinceCharlie • 3 years ago

I can't understand how Jews who care about their own survival and that of their religion can vote Democrat. Antisemitism is on the increase in the USA and the Democrats are doing nothing to prevent this. They're actually supporting it by staying silent and actively supporting antisemitic groups like BlackLivesMatter who don't even try to disguise the fact that this is part of their agenda and mission. BLM and Antifa are the Brownshirts of the Democrat Party.

mrtambourineman • 3 years ago

Nor President Kennedy, may they both rest in peace.

Dr. Philip J. Shapiro • 3 years ago

President Kennedy was not overtly pro-Israel. He sold anti-aircraft missiles to Israel and also received Golda Meir, but he was cautious in getting involved with Israeli concerns. Humphrey, by contrast, had the 1967 Six Day War victory and a pro-Israel American electorate to cushion his pro-Israel public stance when he ran for President in 1968.

mrtambourineman • 3 years ago

I respectfully disagree. Jack and Bobby were both overtly pro-Israel. As was MLK, by the way. I can't remember the details, but Jack had some building or shrine built in Israel during his Presidency.

Anyway, my man point was that Jack, pro-capitalism, pro-tough stance on America's enemies, etc., is turning over in his grave at the sight of today's socialist racist anti-Semitic Democratic Party. So is Bobby. I hope you agree.

Iris Sapovits • 3 years ago

This is no longer the democratic party at all. It is the communist, marxist, socialist party and must be stopped in November, vote for America and vote for Israel. VOTE RED.

Maurice H • 3 years ago

Or Henry Jackson!

Dr. Philip J. Shapiro • 3 years ago

Like my reply directly above, Henry "Scoop" Jackson had political cover in the post-Six Day War era. He ran for President in 1972 - one year before the Yom Kippur War, which was eventually an Israeli victory, but it was not a war of astonishing Israeli victory, and the OPEC oil embargo that followed hurt Israel politically worldwide.

dante • 3 years ago

"political cover" for what? Yom Kippur War was, ultimately, an astonishing Israeli victory, after horrible and inexcusable initial losses.

mrtambourineman • 3 years ago

I laugh at the many Arabs who claim victory in 1973. That's like Germany claiming victory in WW2 because they successfully conquered Poland in the first month.

Dr. Philip J. Shapiro • 3 years ago

Yes and No. That Israel recovered from the initial Arab offensive on two fronts was impressive, but it was not same outcome as the 1967 Six Day War, in which Israel surprised the world by overcoming substantial odds. The 1967 war was anticipated by the international community after weeks of tensions leading toward war, whereas the Yom Kippur War of 1973 was not anticipated. I do agree that the Israeli counter-offensives were impressive and that Israel should have been better prepared. Israel paid a heavy price for overconfidence and complacency - a dangerous position when you reside in a neighborhood called the Middle East.

at the last minute, intel pushed aside the damaging assumptions that had hobbled analysis. so, finally, with only hours before the egyptian attack, the army did what little it could to deal with the impending assault. [the next time you hear some arrogant intel authority, esp one sharing his (leftist or defeatist or capitulationist) political opinions, keep this calamity in mind.]

Robert Sugar • 3 years ago

Liberal Jews are liberal but not Jewish. Their mental disease of voting D regardless of the candidate's qualifications is incurable.

Doc Young • 3 years ago

This shows the true intent of the extremist left - they claim to be “inclusive” and “tolerant,” but that only applies if you kowtow to their agenda. In reality, the extreme left is hateful and every bit as racist as the extreme right they profess to oppose. Bigotry is always wrong. Newsom ought to be ashamed of himself for pandering to the lowest common denominator instead of raising the bar. As Governor of the largest state more is expected. The Supreme Court of the US should overturn this racist law. Of course - these days one can never tell where John Roberts stands on the law.

Colin • 3 years ago

Let th Supreme Court act!

Flora Guttierez • 3 years ago

CSU is the university system for sub-standard students anyway. Jewish kids have no business attending college with dopes and morons and their leftist baby sitters. OK, with the exception of the engineering curriculum so long as engineering students are not subject to the same leftist "humanities" course requirements.

Michael Shookhtim • 3 years ago

It starts with underlings. You don't want the lower class people to become anti semitic, because the first thing that happens when something goes wrong in their life, they blame the Jews, Have we not learned anything ? Thats exactly a page taken from moslem dictatorships. Blame Jews for everything

Allan Singer • 3 years ago

It’s not we haven’t learned anything. It’s that we have elected a leader who doesn’t know anything except what he thinks will support his agenda to further his career at any expense.

dante • 3 years ago

you've missed an important point: whoever the students, however smart, however decent, there will be students who will be indoctrinated with hatred by the new "critical ethnic studies" curriculum.

mrtambourineman • 3 years ago

Both of my sons are studying Engineering at a Cal Poly. Is Calculus different at different colleges?
The curriculum is the same as at UC. Recruiters come around all the time, because they know the quality of the Engineering students. You don't know what you're talking about. You don't know individual students. "It's the frog, not the pond" Put your ignorant obnoxious comment up the end of your colon where the sun don't shine.

Jill Abbott • 3 years ago

You are the ignorant one to equate CalTech with the CA state colleges.

steph • 3 years ago

He didn't say Cal-Tech, he said Cal Poly, aka California State Polytechnic University, which is part of the CSU, California State University system. You read what he said incorrectly.
