At the start of the Gaza War in 2014, Operation Protective Edge, there were 3 yeshivot in the south. They have always claimed that it is their praying, yom v'layla that keeps the country safe. (I wonder how many km. are covered by their prayer). But, anyway, as the war started, all three yeshivot near Sderot and netivot?? don't remember, all 3 of them vacated and moved Tsafona. So much for their prayers protecting Eretz Yisrael.

It is the Charedim (Chassidic and Yeshivish varieties) that believe that they are on this earth to study yom va'layla. With 13 kids (often) a family, they account for, (I presume) a large percentage of Israelis under povery line, (also Israeli Arabs about 25% according to, I don't remember).
And G-d forbid they should serve in the army, they might see a woman's face not-pixilated. A real face.

When one makes babies, it is incumbent upon the parents to be able to afford to have Mom stay home and raise the kid. Too many babies, only months old, are in day care centers for 6, 8, 10 hours a day. Those kids are being raised by someone other than a parent.

If you cannot afford to raise a kid, I suggest getting yourself a cat. You will be doing the kid, and the cat, both a favor.

That is because the friggin Lubavitchers and Ashkenazi men do not work. They make their wives work and the babies are placed in daycares. All this nonsense of having to "Study Torah" for their whole lifetime and live off welfare is insane and totally against Torah. Show me where King David shrieked his responsibilities to study Torah. I frequent a community center where babies - babied, not more than a few months old - are in day care for 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Perhaps in your world that is acceptable, but not in mine.
