I honestly dont like the webtoon and hate Ariadne. The webtoon doesnt make any sense in so many situations, its not reasonable on many many cases and Ariadne is such a goody two shoes. Somehow, she is aaaaaalways the victim, as if she didnt plot a coup against the CP in her first timeline. Also she is so stupid for a 30+ years old seasoned court lady who regressed in time.

Eh I disagree but I respect your opinion! I do agree that there are scenarios (with Cesare and Ariadne) that make me raise an eyebrow but I think she's living in a society where rejecting his advances could be looked down upon.

To me it seems like Ariadne acts like the victim on purpose and knows how to use it to her advantage. Acting like the victim is simply part of her masterplan, it makes her look sympathetic to the CP and also highlights how she's been treated unfairly in her family up until that point. Indirectly exposing her unfair treatment makes society feel bad for her and her father the cardinal who's obsessed with his status starts feeling embarrassed and does something about it. She's in a very patriarchal society as well as an illegitimate child so she can't freely communicate that things are unfair for her – especially if it's pretty much the norm – so she has to do it in a way that draws reactions from people.

Some of korean webtoon titles sounds ridiculous lol especially the isekai ones
