White Portland liberals lol....nothing but a bunch of unemployed do nothings.

IndyGuy581 • 3 years ago

You for the uncivilized entitled spoiled brat part.

Angerfist • 3 years ago

Whatever that meant.

Arthur Julien • 3 years ago

Sounds like white supremacists posting as MLB supporters to create a problem.

Try some warm milk, a cookie, and a nap.

Good one!

That is a shame. But man, the really scary story coming out of Portland is the federal kidnapping of protesters in violation of the 1st amendment. The Trump administration is testing the waters before all-out dictatorship....Maybe he got the ideas from Bolsenaro or in a love letter from Kim...

Guest • 3 years ago

He’s trying. (That’s why I said testing the waters). That is his wet dream and the republicans seem to be for it too. He has already done unprecedented things against our constitutional democracy and they have not addressed them.

Guest • 3 years ago

LOL. I KNEW you would come back with some ignorant "the liberal media" bull crap. I read NYT (yes, liberal bent on the opinion page) and the WSJ (yes, a conservative bent on the opinion page) among other news sources. You know what has no bias? Facts. Everything I wrote above is fact. Plain and simple. Sorry bud. You're as anti-American as all get out. Sad.

Guest • 3 years ago

Lol too funny. You don’t even know what a liberal is. Still playing the Soviet Union nonsense. Just makes you all look so ignorant. The nice thing these days about truths is we have trump on video. That doesn’t lie.

Guest • 3 years ago

Oh good then you realize the USSR has nothing to do with. Affordable healthcare and equal rights are hardly communist. Lol

Guest • 3 years ago

Nothing on the level of the USSR. Please, arguing is fine. Arguing in bad faith (e.g., like you) is just wrong.

Guest • 3 years ago

Bad faith because you purposely misrepresent liberals. Have a nice day.

Using force to remove demonstrators from a public space so he could do a photo op the kind of which we see in dictatorships (never in a 1st world country before). Pardoning convicted criminals because they worked for on his corrupted campaign. Portland secret kidnapping forces. Taken funds that Congress appropriated to our troops and putting them towards the wall. Holding press conferences that turn into campaign rallies (illegal per Hatch Act), only something that we see third world dictator thugs do normally. Using the office of the presidency to enrich himself (violation of the emoluments clause) - admittedly this is not so much dictatorial as it is oligarchical (another of his favorite kind of leader). Need more examples? Can I get you a subscription to a few newspapers so you can be more informed about our current administration? A good citizen is an informed one!

IndyGuy581 • 3 years ago

You are truly delusional if you think that Trump is being dictatorial.
You have the Govenor, Mayor of Portland, and a city council letting these barbaric rioters take over and
destroy a city. Literally letting them destroy Portland.
Are you ok with that?
That these leftist freaks that are in charge of the city and state in Portland, Oregon are what you
should be concerned with.

I do have a problem with them destroying things. We all should have a serious problem with the actions of the president having special forces abduct people. Like I said, we see that kind of behavior in third-world dictatorships (you know, the kind Trump likes). You are the delusional one sir. You are apparently the one who has no idea what our constitution guarantees. Go Hoosiers though!

IndyGuy581 • 3 years ago

They are not special forces.
The are federal authorities not letting the rioters take over and destroy federal facilities.
In some circumstances the police and federal authorities will work together in apprehending criminals.
They have to use unmarked cars to make arrests as humanly fast as possible to avoid the vicious
rioting mobs hell bent on attacking.

Go Hoosiers!! You got a thumbs up for that.

It is still unconstitutional. In the US you are read your rights. These people didn’t know who was taking them (many were taken wrongly anyhow since they were eventually released!), their friends and family didn’t know where they were being taken, tc. Again, not in America. Maybe Saudi Arabia, another of trump’s faves....

IndyGuy581 • 3 years ago

I also have little sympathy for people that want to destroy our cities, attack the police, shred our Constitution,
and then turn right around and scream about their Constitutional rights being violated.
Especially after they didn’t think twice about violating other people’s Constitutional rights.

As a patriotic die-hard american I am only interested in people's constitutional rights being upheld. The greatness of our nation is that we afford constitutional rights even to those we don't agree with. However, in the cases we have seen in Portland, innocent people have been carted away in unmarked cars by unidentified people. No excuse. I know you want to somehow make an excuse for it, and I do not understand that, truly, but there is none to be made.

IndyGuy581 • 3 years ago

How do you know they were taken wrongly???
I’m sure their rounding up people from surveillance video that were rioting and attacking police.
Why else would they make arrests.
Also, consider the environment. They have to use unmarked cars and have to be quick before they
come under attack.

I have posted some links to articles about this. There is first hand account of someone who was taken (it is on film) and then released with no charges. That means he was taken wrongly. So they are not actually arresting everyone. Also, follow up to the my reply on the other comment about constitutional rights - you have no evidence that these protesters are shredding the constitution (on the contrary, most protests around the nation are FOR the constitution and are occurring because of our great constitution - that the prez disrespects every single second he is in the office, sadly). They did not violate the constitution and then scream that their rights were violated.

Arthur Julien • 3 years ago

Do you have a link for that? I would like to read it.

If he gets 4 more years, we have more of that to look forward to.

racism is okay with democrats. we've seen this time and time again. black face, white dems on black republican assaults. its all acceptable in their world and the media never report it because they are racists too...

Thank you for stating the obvious.
I’m stunned at the denial of that simple truth by the BLM supporters.

Shawsy • 3 years ago

It’s debatable.
Let’s take this for a spin,
Trump is a racist and clearly a good portion of his supporters are racist.
This isn’t even debatable. :)

Except it wasn't a diversion.
It’s the same sort of logical fallacy Gillette used.

How many right wingers are going to fall on their face over this? 😂😂

Ralphie • 3 years ago

but but but Trump!

Trump! DRINK !

no where in the article is trump mentioned.

You are completely obvious.
I love the fake outrage when you get called out. 😂😂

I’m hardly an intellectual. Just a guy with a good education and plenty of life experience.

I know a couple of idiots when I see them.
