1) what *IF* he did work out an agreement with the authors for him to feign outrage for private gain...
2) Now - try to prove it - as difficult as it is...
3) what are the penalties for violating this law? What if they find out AFTER trump leaves office? You cant impeach him then...

Per Forbes, "He also finished the manuscript for Of Thee I Sing: A Letter To My Daughters, which was eventually published in November 2010. He donated all post-tax profits from the children’s book to provide scholarships for children of wounded and fallen soldiers."

And writing books to promote your vision while and/or selling them while in office, as long as you do do not profit is not a violation. Do you have evidence Obama or Clinton profited from publications written in office, while in office?
