I'd say SDBH lacks in consistency, while DBS lacks in creativity and execution.
They gave the franchise new light with the introduction of GoDs, God Ki, Universes yet the arcs are nothing like DBZ. They're just too afraid to create new story elements and always bring back outdated allies (Roshi, Tien) and techniques (Kaioken, Mafuba). 3/4 of DBS' movies have previous antagonists, Beerus is definitely DBS' best feat.
Of course SDBH reintroduced characters as well, yet it includes them in new stories with new looks and abilities without the need to retcon them. For a promotional anime, the fact that it can surpass DBS is noteworthy.

You said it man, like in most episode's (not this one) there's a huge watermark on thr top-right which literally says promotional anime ("so don't take me too seriously as I'm not official").
Everyone should just be grateful that there is new unique Dragon Ball content even if its sometimes butchered and illogical.

U dont deserve to get an english dub. Japan gets all the good stuff exclusive to themselves cause outside japan u guys only complain about anything that doesnt suit ur taste. Dragon Ball Super is a snore fest of repetitive tropes and terrible story design, and I'm tired of pretending it doesn't.

Because they tried doing shit like in here, too much fan service breaks the logic and the show becomes dull. Manga was much better.

No I mean the story was inconsistent, and rushed in areas it had great potential, it was ruined badly by the multiverse tournament and lack of exploration into the other characters and universes as well as the sidelining of characters groomed for main roles than abandoned or worse cameo heavy characters getting no growth. It's been a stagnant and bad story writing that has made dbs garbage and to be very honest the fan made stuff on YouTube (gokut23/callmearj) are way better in comparison.

Many of the what if stories are more consistent than the actual series, face it dbs has become a corporate dumpster fire. Toei went so hard trying to shutdown MAstar Media for making a fan animation, know why? Cause some random just plopped out something so bad ass (anime wars, which started as a Goku vs Saitama animation and spun out into a genius fever dream of epicness) it got more views/hype/support than the actual series.

Intellectual property is a crock of shit, it's just a descendant of "royal monopolies" the phrase they used before Intellectual property (an idea isn't property as no force is used or implied in acquisition thus an argument of theft is invalid, not to mention "no one has a right to any work derivative or not produced by another"). Literally a throw back from feudalist monarchies. And it wasn't someone else's idea, MAstar Media made the content, not those laying claim to the property he created. Monopolies don't inspire competition. But competition is what constantly moves the bar for achievement higher.

Dragon ball kakumei or the Goku got betrayed and trapped in the room of spirit and time both storylines are not only feasible but far more interesting than the original dbs series. Also some of the what ifs explore broly becoming a z warrior, Vegeta actually training sadala's warriors, Gohan continuing to train and piccolo getting god ki all are highly desired by the fan base.

What god ki that's just advanced control of ki, lmao, piccolo is a god since he fused with kami, you see that's what i'm saying, most fans don't understand dragon ball, that's why fan made is crap.
